The webseries for A Plague Tale: Innocence has come to an end as we now have the final episode to take in. These would be the behind the scenes videos that Asobo Studio has placed out there for all of us to get a better idea of how they built this game. Also to keep A Plague Tale on our minds while we wait for May 14th to roll up and offer the game up on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We need something as the attention spans of gamers do not seem to last long at all. Unless it is a game you are overly hyped for. But I digress and should get back on topic here.
In this latest video we get to see more of the enemies and challenges of A Plague Tale and why they were designed in specific ways. Also things like the fact that the rats were not originally in the design and were perfectly added later. Not only bringing a physical representation of the plague but all kinds of other interesting things to the game. Like balancing lighting effects to make sure we can still see them in the dark setting of A Plague Tale. That and balancing out how and why the Inquisition has the gear they have along with their plans. It seems like there is more to the game now than we thought with just the puzzles to solve with the kids.
A Plague Tale: Innocence — Children Of The Plague
A Plague Tale: Innocence — third and final episode of webseries exposes you to the deadly rat plague.
Asobo Studio takes us one last time behind the scenes of A Plague Tale: Innocence, their new own-IP title scheduled for release on May 14th of this year. Once again, discover more about the forging of this incredible game by a no-less incredible team, with the webseries’ third episode, Children of the Plague, available now.
Seeing all of this has brought my hype levels for A Plague Tale: Innocence to an all-time high and now I am dreading the wait until May to get to play the game. I mean, I am going to have to as that is when Focus Home Interactive has the date set still, but it looks like there is so much more going on here than we originally saw and thought back when it was a basic idea at E3. A lot of amazing progress can be seen here and I am ready for that final build of the game. Also a nice tutorial on how to set up the massive swarms we see here in my own games, but that is an outside dream from just getting to play A Plague Tale.
What do you think about the rats of A Plague Tale now that we have seen more on how they came to be here? Do you think that the lighting will cause issues in the game or did Asobo do a great job at making them stand out enough for us? What do you think the human enemies will be up to in the game and will they be the ultimate enemy here? Let us know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on A Plague Tale: Innocence as it comes, be sure to be right here. I know we will have more and you will be glad you saw it all.
