See If The Gameplay Of Control Will Give You Just That

Control

The second developer diary for Control is out and we get to dive deeper into some of the gameplay Control will offer up

We still have a lot to learn about Control and now we get to learn a bit more of the gameplay for the game. Well, more about the path that Remedy games took when crafting the gameplay for the game as we do not have anything new in those terms to see but they do have a lot to say about it. At least if you are willing to dig into the new developer diary for Control that we have just below to look at as the team describes their approach to it all. They are aiming to make a different game than we have seen over the years from them so it is worth knowing how things may be a bit different than before.

One of the bigger aspects that they are aiming for in Control is to give players just that and focus less on the cinematic form we have seen before. I am not seeing that in anything we have been shown before as it does look very cinematic in general, but I am going to guess it will be in the actual progressing of the game's story and not in what we already know from them. I think it boils down to how the lore of it all will be presented as we will need to hunt it down in Control more than being offered it up. It is also interesting to see that this exploration will be how we find new enemies and not have them just stalking us down at some point.

Control — Introducing The Gameplay

For our second Dev Diary, we'll be discussing our gameplay vision for Control.

How are you feeling about Control now that you have an understanding of Remedy's approach to the gameplay design? Do you think going along in this way will make for a richer gameplay experience or will it leave things missed by those who do not like to explore in these kinds of games? When do you think we will finally see some new gameplay for the game than rehashed versions of the E3 footage? Let us know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Control, though, just keep coming back here as we will keep putting out all of the updates you could be looking for.
