TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan Gets A Release Date & New Bosses

TMNT

New gameplay for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan has been placed out there and it shows off the turtles in action as well as TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan's release date

While a lot of the wait for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan news has been all over the place it looks like the wait for the actual game to release is a lot closer than we could have imagined. Platinum Games has stepped up and it looks like we are now getting the game on May 24th. Just as I assumed from before so that Activision could work in tandem with the new film's release and TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan to try and capitalize on that extra dollar. At least if the film doesn't flop as most consumers will just assume this is a tie-in title and not something that just happens to share the name.

To go along with the release date announcement here we also have a nice new trailer showing off some of the bosses we will be taking on in TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan. This includes a whole lot of classic cartoon and comic favorites as well as a glimpse of the new Super Shredder that will be pulling some of the strings in the game. It looks like all of the humor and fun is being kept even further here and I shouldn't need to tell you that it is an amazing thing. It really does look like the franchise is in good hands here with Platinum and I am looking forward to getting to take the team for a spin.

If that wasn't enough for you then you are also in luck here as we have some new and extended gameplay for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan to check out as well. In fact it looks like the first mission in demo mode can be seen here and we get a taste of how the single player will play out while not placing any of the turtles on the sidelines. There is even a bit of need to co-op, even in solo mode, to make sure that you can pull off some of the best combos and keep the ninjas flowing. All of this here does point to one truly stellar TMNT video game and we haven't had one of those in quite some time now have we?
