Here Comes The Zombie Horde In Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3

Black Ops 3

Another trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's upcoming Awakening DLC has been released and we are fully introduced to Black Ops 3's first chapter of Zombies DLC

The date is almost here for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's first major DLC and the start of the new Zombies adventure. February 2nd at least for all of those PS4 owners out there as the Xbox One and PC gamers need to wait another month, most likely, to get their taste of where Treyarch is taking the zombie story line. Well at least that is the wait until they can experience it live in Black Ops 3 and not just in trailer form. As of right now all of us out there can see what is ready for us to shoot down as we re-tackle Der Eisendrache in Black Ops 3.

Hopefully by now most of you know that this will be more of the original story for the characters in this chapter of the Zombies lore here. Well at least more on the Element 115 discovery and all that jazz here in Black Ops 3. I have a feeling that there is going to need to be a definitive book or something written to document all the ins and outs of the story for it. The rest of us can just enjoy the shooting aspect of it in Black Ops 3 and cobble the rest together via internet searching. Seems the best way to go unless you want to binge all of the games with it involved.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 — Awakening: Der Eisendrache

Der Eisendrache, the first chapter of Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's Zombies DLC adventure will take players on an epic journey with the Origin characters Richtofen, Nicolai, Takeo, and Dempsey. Set in an eerie medieval castle built upon an ancient site of unspeakable horror, massive deposits of Element 115 have recently been discovered, delivering inspired new gameplay and - in Zombies tradition - a variety of exciting plot twists and surprises that fans will have the opportunity to discover for themselves.

I am a bit curious on the Dragon that shows up here in the trailer though. I know the title of the first chapter does translate into The Iron Dragon but it seems a bit out of sorts in Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's zombies. Then again I haven't been following the whole thing along perfectly since we first were introduced to the mode so long ago. I am sure that Treyarch has reasons for it in Black Ops 3 here but until I get handsie with it, it will still confuse me. At least I only have a little under a week to wait for it now.

How are you feeling about Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3's new DLC and the Zombies mode it will hold? Does it make full sense to you and now you can't wait to dive right into the mix? Are you done with Black Ops 3 in general and ready to move right along? Let us know in the comments and discuss away. As we get further updates for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 and all of the DLC around it out of Activision we will update you here. Be sure to keep your eyes glued to the site for more as it comes.
