TMNT
The official announcement for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan has been made, finally, and we have the first details for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan along with a trailer
It only took a little over a month and a whole lot of "leaked" info but TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan is a real thing and now we have the official statement of so. I am still not completely certain why it took Platinum Games or Activision to fully embrace the leaks and plug them by officially announcing TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan but what is done is done. Now we just get to look forward and onward for this TMNT video game to hit this summer on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC. At least we were able to speculate that correctly too for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan.
Down to the nitty gritty for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan though. At least as far as what has been announced and released as of now. I am sure there is more to come.
TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan is a third-person action title featuring the core crew of the TMNT. Players will be able to play it solo, assuming the other turtles to be AI controlled, or up to four-player co-op online. Each player taking on the role of their chosen turtle whom happens to have their own skills, abilities, and style. Looks like Platinum Games is going to try and make each one in TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan feel different not just in terms of character personality but also fighting style based on their weapons. That is a huge bonus and we'll see how all of that pays off in the end.
Of course it wouldn't be a solid TMNT title without all of the iconic villains and criminals that the heroes in a half shell have faced off with in the past. The official list we have for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan lists only Bebop, Rocksteady, and Shredder along with other icons from the franchise but if you watch the following trailer you can spy a few others like Armaggon trying to make sure that the turtles are headed to that huge pizzeria in the sky. I just hope there is some sweet Krang action in TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan at some point to make sure we cover all ends in the franchise.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan — Announce Trailer
"We’ve put a lot more into this game than just combat: you can climb walls, glide along wires, and there’s a lot of freedom of movement that ties into the action. With this game, players will be able to feel like they’re the Turtles themselves, running, grinding, and gliding around NYC to prevent crimes."
Now that we have the official announcement for TMNT: Mutants In Manhattan are you still hyped up? Does it look like it could bring the turtles back into the greatness of a video game or just some slop-ware to piggy back off the next film releasing around the same time?
