Final Fantasy XV
In preparation for Final Fantasy XV's next Active Time Report this Saturday we have a few new screenshots for Final Fantasy XV to show off what will be covered
More teases for Final Fantasy XV have come out and in this case it is a tease for the upcoming Active Time Report this Saturday where Square Enix will have the developers talk about a few unknown things about the game. That happens at 8pm PST for those looking forward to that but the real tease here for Final Fantasy XV is a nice little look at the magic and stealth mechanics that we will get to fumble around with when the full game lands. I'm sure we all knew that magic was going to be in there but stealth hasn't been a huge mechanic until Final Fantasy XV here now has it.
Of course for all of the nice and fuller explanations for these systems in Final Fantasy XV we'll have to wait until Saturday. Until then though we can pine over the really nice images that came along with this announcement/tease and try to figure out how it all works. It looks like we have magic, basic combat, and the above mentioned stealth in these new Final Fantasy XV screen shots so let us all have a look and see what we can see. Maybe we won't have to wait until the end of the week to understand how they will all work.
Based on all of these still here I think it is safe to say that the combat and magic systems in Final Fantasy XV will be pretty much what we have come to expect in the latest released titles of the franchise. This includes staples like "Fire" to make the rounds again. I'm sure it is safe to bet that all of the normal magic attacks will be back in Final Fantasy XV. It kind of wouldn't be part of the franchise without them. It does look like the stealth mechanics are more cover based by the one image alone though. Could this mean that we have whole sections where we need to go all Solid Snake on in Final Fantasy XV? Most likely no but I wouldn't be shocked if there were.
I am sure that there are good reasons for us to need to sneak around in Final Fantasy XV but in all honesty I can't think of one. Outside of sneaking past a Malboro, Tonberry, or Cactuar it would be most likely a run in and destroy everything kind of experience. Of course that is all based on the franchise before and things are changing with Final Fantasy XV here. I guess we'll all find out this weekend when Square Enix gives us all those updates that we are hoping for now.
What are your thoughts on the Magic and Stealth we have seen for Final Fantasy XV here? Do you think that there will be some great changes to the magic system that we haven't yet heard or expected? Do you think that stealth will play a huge role in Final Fantasy XV or just be in a few random instances? Let us know what you are thinking discuss in the comments below. As Square Enix releases more on Final Fantasy XV we will have it here for you so be sure to keep checking in for all of those updates in the near future. Hopefully…
