A Collector's Edition Of Hitman Has Crept Out To The Open

Hitman

The Hitman collector's edition has been shown off and now we can see all of those fun Hitman extras that will keep us between episodes

Right on the heels of the announcement that Hitman is going to be an episodic title we have a look at the collector's edition of the game. If I didn't know better I'd guess that Io Interactive and/or Square Enix were trying to divert away from the episodic announcement for Hitman with something awesome to get on March 11th but that is how it seems. None the less we know have all the details on what we will get if we choose to shell out all of the cash out the gate for Hitman. Let's dig on in.

For the most part the Hitman collector's edition isn't anything out of the normal. It comes for with the full season of content for the game, a nice little art book, neck tie and clip, and nice little 10 inch statue showing off Hitman main man: Agent 47. Like I said nothing too crazy and all for the price of $139.99 USD or the equivalent in your region. Also the Hitman collector's edition also brings you access to the beta that starts up on February 12th. I am guess if you pre-order though as the dates line up.

I am a bit confused on the pricing for Hitman here as it is kind of a basic statue and other collector's editions from Square Enix have had the same and still priced less. Also given how the neck tie and clip have been given out at any convention in the past true fans most likely already have a set and will be paying just for the statue mainly. I really wish that the Hitman collector's edition had more substance to it instead of what we are getting; especially since we'll have to wait a month between each episode too boot.
