Mighty No. 9
Mighty No. 9 was delayed but now we have a new release date for Mighty No. 9 and some gameplay to show off how the game is going to handle
Back in August we had the bad news that Mighty No. 9 was going to be delayed. Delayed until sometime in 2016 with little more to go on from comcept and Deep Silver for when we may be seeing this Mega Man spiritual successor hitting our systems. Good news is now that Mighty No. 9 will be hitting the PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, 3DS, PC, Linux, and Mac platforms on February 9th of 2016. That isn't that long of a wait for Mighty No. 9 now and hopefully it will pay off in the long run to make it a better game. There is a lot riding on it as fans can be very picky and mean when it comes to loved franchises.
If you are one of those worried ones who can't wait until February to see Mighty No. 9 in action then you are doubly in luck as we also have some nice extended gameplay footage to show you so you can see where comcept has placed the extra time for the game. This is of course in terms of levels and story bits for Mighty No. 9 so you may want to keep that in mind before you rush off and click Play on the following video. Even though the spoken word is in Japanese the text in the bubbles here is in English for those who speak or read and don't want to spoil anything in terms of story for Mighty No. 9. Word to the wise and all.
You've had the warnings and now I give you some extra gameplay footage for Mighty No. 9. Enjoy and see how well a true Mega Man title could look if the franchise was able to live on and not just given the "spiritual" tag to it all.
