We have seen a whole lot of footage for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. CD Projekt RED has shown off quite a bit up to now and so far things have been overly impressive and it is no question as to why the game has over one million pre-orders already slated for May 19th. We've seen The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt played on PC as well as PS4 but until now we have yet to see it running on the Xbox One. Not that the game wasn't scheduled for it from day one but there just hasn't been a good public showing on that platform…wait for it…until now.
Yes, we have the first bit of gameplay for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the Xbox One so we can all compare and contrast between all of the platforms and dictate that the PC version will be the best by far. At least as the visuals go and as long as you have a PC powerful enough to handle The Witcher 3 at the settings that will impress any and every one. That is always the hang up there even though it can completely blow things out of the water like Geralt will in the game. I love when lines are cheesy and line up like that.
You too can now have a look at The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt running on the Xbox One and see if this will be the platform for you. Have a look.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Xbox One Gameplay
To me, and this isn't the fan-god in me, I think this is the most lacking version I have seen to date when it comes to visuals for The Witcher 3. Some can be blamed on the third party showing the video but it just seems off not being able to see a 1080 60fps version of the video for the Xbox One's display. I do hope that this is just an isolated incident for me and those Xbox fans won't be let down when they finally get to spin the game up next week. I never put full faith in these videos though as it isn't how it will be pumped from system to screen so…
