Call Of Duty: Black Ops III Teaser May Be Showing A Bit Of Story

We still have a bit to wait for the official gameplay reveal for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III but that doesn't mean that Activision isn't going to tease us with a bit as we lead up to it. That is just what we were given today with the latest teaser trailer titled "Ember" although the name may not make any sense outside of a few huge conspiracies for it all. We all love conspiracies don't we and that is really what Call Of Duty: Black Ops III should all be about when we dig in. At least if it is aiming to follow the franchise as it has already.

What is interesting about this following teaser is it really looks like it is setting the stage for the story of Call Of Duty: Black Ops III's campaign mode. Of course this would also drive and dictate a few things for all of the other modes as it is all usually connected. Unless of course Treyarch wants to deviate from that standard for the Call Of Duty games with Black Ops III but that is pretty much going to be thrown out the window. Although could you imagine having a campaign that was modern and then a multiplayer that took place all in a past war. It would be like two games in one.

None the less this little teaser sounds like it is setting up for some kind of Deus Ex style revolution in Call Of Duty: Black Ops III. It looks like humanity has progressed so far that mechanical enhancements are the norm and status symbols now. Kind of like Repo! The Genetic Opera meets Metal Gear Solid 4 in terms of how society has progressed. The latter of course tying into the idea of mind control and sharing thoughts via implants. Although in Black Ops III it doesn't look like nanobots are going to be the way that all happens. I could be wrong or I could be right.

You can have a look at that teaser for Call Of Duty: Black Ops III now and sit and wait as the full reveal will be coming this Sunday (4/26). It does look like Treyarch has set themselves up for something particularly fun and insane if Black Ops III goes down the path I think it may be going. We'll have to wait and see.
