While the teaser video feed that Square Enix has been pushing is still going on it looks like it is all for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. At least it makes sense given that Eidos Montreal made Deus Ex: Human Revolution and happens to be a Western developer under the Square Enix banner. All of that and the fact that we've had some new screenshots, concept art, and the next cover story from Game Informer "leaked" out before the most likely April 8th official announcement date that was planned. Doesn't it suck that nothing can be kept a true secret anymore in the age of technology and super sleuths online…kind of like the Deus Ex universe… Wait a second…
All proselytizing aside, all of these new items and proof of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided coming all started from, as you guessed it, a "leak" on NeoGaf. This "leak" showing off what you see below as well as a bit of the basics of the story for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Hopefully we will have more once we are done torturing that poor guy in a cell, if that does still turn out to be Deus Ex: Mankind Divided that is, but until then all we have is what you can see below.
Have a look now at what we have for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided — Game Informer Coverage Trailer
As I said before, I had a feeling something like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was coming. It made a whole lot of sense given what Square was trying to have run viral. Sadly they put their trust in companies that can't keep tight lids on anything and "leaks" like this happen kind of spoiling all the fun that they put time and effort into. It is sad but true. I am interested to see where all of this goes and how it will link into Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and all of the backlash that has happened in the game's universe since we last went crazy cyborg style all over town. I guess we'll definitely see as this week finally plays all the way out.
Are you shocked by any of this or the Deus Ex: Mankind Divided announcement? Does Deus Ex: Mankind Divided get you all antsy in the pantsy for a new cyberpunk game for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC? Give us all the thoughts in the comments and we'll be sure to leak them out just as Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was here.
