There is nothing like the sting of losing a title like Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun. Except for the sting of seeing how great the game was shaping up before Square Enix pulled the plug on it and moved portions over to another title that is on the verge of release. That's right. We have some gameplay footage for Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun from a forum member over at NeoGaf as well as a whole slew of screens and information about the game that looks like it will never be. Time to feel the sting of teeth in the neck for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and PC title that went down in ashes back in 2012.
For now we are going to leave all of the fun details over at the other site since they were nice enough to lend the Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun video here. There is more description and details on what you are about to see so I fully recommend taking a look over there but for now have a look at Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun in all of its dead glory. Gods it sucks having to repeat that over and over…
Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun — Gameplay Footage
If I wasn't let down before with Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun getting the axe, I am more so after seeing this footage for the game. It really looked like they were on to something great over there at Climax Studios. It just sucks that the only part of Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun that is going to live on is the multiplayer deathmatch mode that took the form of Nosgoth. I'm sure you've all seen or played that already so I am sure you know how much more all of this stings. We really need a good Legacy Of Kain title to come out again.
What are your thoughts? Are you upset with the great tease that we have here for Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun that will show us where the game was headed before it lost its own? Let us know down in the comments. Maybe we can see this rekindled now that the footage is out there and the multiplayer has been released. Come on Square Enix. Give us some Legacy Of Kain: Dead Sun.
