The Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is only about a week away from hitting our "next gen" consoles and giving us not only another title to play on them but a look at what Crystal Dynamics is claiming to be the definitive version of the game. At least to date. There have already been a few comparison videos and images spread out in the ether of the internet but are you not truly interested in what went into making this 'definitive' look? I swear I am going to get tired of writing that word if it keeps getting abused as it has been in the recent months. As usual, I digress.

Well there you have it. They completely remodeled her head and added in pretty much all the tech that PC gamers already should have been getting with Tomb Raider. There are still steps to be taken in the end, especially when compared to other games, but I think that this will be the version of the game non-PC gamers will have wanted from the start. It sucks that we had to wait so long but at least we are getting it. I can't wait to finally give the game a try and on the platform of my choice. Now if only I had a 4K TV to truly get the best out of Tomb Raider.
