Let's pretend that we couldn't assume that there was going to be a follow up to Black Ops and that nothing was "leaked" early… *Gets Ready To Act*
It's official! Call Of Duty: Black Ops II is coming and it is will be in stores on November 13th this year. Totally unexpected! Oh and get this, it is a direct sequel to the first one. Characters and villains will be making the move into this new one that takes place both in the 80's and '25's. That's 2025 mind you. Looks like it is going very high tech, at least in the future part, even though I don't see a single hover board.
So what caused the conflict in the future? A hacker taking control over the U.S.'s robotized military mixed into a cold war with China over rare metals. I just really hope I get to shoot some people with rat tails or side pony tails while blasting some Thriller. I guess we'll have to see as more details flow onto the net.
Aaaaaaand end acting.
I'll be honest, the trailer looks awesome, the story sounds topical, but in the end what is going to make it more than just another FPS the millions of people will shell out $60+ for? There have been a few mentions of different kinds of co-op and another, "better" zombie mode, but I don't know if that is all I need to blindly place my money in Activision's hands yet. Hopefully soon we will get an amazing update that goes into great depth about everything we did or didn't see in the trailer.
