We are only a week away from the launch of The Wolf Among Us Remastered on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC, with October 29th still the day for us all to look forward to. We have also had a lot to look at for the remaster, but it's been over thirteen years since we last got to play it. That means that Telltale is here to give us all a quick update on the story that we are about to have in The Wolf Among Us. Not the full story, as we will need to play that all out next week. Here, we are getting the short version of things to lead to the start of the game and get more of us all ready to experience just what the Big Bad Wolf is going to bring to Fabletown, along with all of the other characters we should be expecting.
For those who missed out back when this title first dropped, or missed the graphic novel it is all based on, The Wolf Among Us takes us into a world where all of our fable characters exist. Just in a more modern setting of things instead of the fantasy settings they usually are. From Snow White, the Sleeping Beauty, to Red Riding Hood, and to the Big Bad Wolf, to name a few. Given that we are in a modern setting, there are laws and rules, with Bigby the one who has to police them all and investigate when things go sideways. Well, in The Wolf Among Us things have gone sideways, and we need to head into the world to figure it all out. That is where the story starts and goes, with all of the episodic twists and turns that we would expect along the way in a narrative game as this one is. The Wolf Among Us Remastered will be available on Xbox One, playable on Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility, and Cloud on October 29, 2026. It will also be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PS5.
