The release date for Escape From Playtime is set, and we can add Escape From Playtime to the list of Halloween Games
The reveal just happened for Escape From Playtime, and here we go with the release date set for the game. It certainly looks as if Mob Entertainment wants us to all be playing the game when Halloween rolls around, even if the release date is not on the holiday specifically. In fact, it's a little bit before that date, and fresh off the heels of the parent IP wrapping up another chapter of the story. None of that is why you are here, though. You're here to find out that Escape From Playtime will be hitting the PC this coming October 21st. So, get your squads together to see if we all are going to be able to survive the horrors that the game will offer, and if we can truly trust our friends out there in the wild…
While it is nice to know when we're going to be able to play Escape From Playtime, it is worth noting that this will be for Early Access to the game and not the full game. That might get some of you to turn this off and move right along, but it is a way to give it all a bit of a go. Then you'll be able to find the groove of your chosen toy you'll be running around with, and giving you more time to get the full lore dump for the IP before the final release. Not that many of you will need that, given how close to Poppy Playtime that Escape From Playtime is going to be. Maybe the bigger draw to it all will be the fact that you can test out the game mechanic where we'll be able to turn on our friends in the game. Turn them on in a way that they lose the match or get killed in the mix of things. That's one of the bigger draws to this four-player co-op title, and the entity that'll be hunting us down once we spin the game up.

You and your friends must work together and utilize your surroundings if you hope to make it out of the factory in one piece. But who or what you’re collecting the parts for… is unknown.
