The Walking Dead shambles on, as we have the full launch for The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival hitting today
The IP is walking yet again, as we're back with the full launch for The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. So, get your weapons ready to smash in some undead heads and fight the various humans, as Odaclick Game Studio and Trailmark Games bring us a full retelling of the AMC version of the story. Okay, maybe not a full retelling, but a version of The Walking Dead where we play as favorite characters at iconic locations from the TV show. Even if some of them would be beating each other up instead of beating up all of the waves of enemies we're about to face down in the game. No matter the case, the launch of the game is here, and we can face off with more of the undead as we all hope to.
If you, somehow, missed out on what The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival is, let's get you caught up. It is a new side-scrolling beat-em-up title that is giving us a chance to play through certain events in the All Out War storyline of the show. I mention that as we're getting characters to play who weren't around in the original comic line of the story, and we're seeing unlikely team-ups in the events to help drive it all forward. Given that Negan is a playable character, and Rick would never have been cool with that teaming, we're going to need to remember this is all to make the video game fun and not accurate to the source. That way, we can have all of the walker slaying and human bashing that we want, all while getting a new take on the story that The Walking Dead told so well the first time around. Who knows, maybe this version could fix some of the issues that people had before. It's time to find out, though, as the game is now officially out there for us all to fully enjoy.
