Escape A Bit Of His Past In The Upcoming Marvel’s Wolverine

Wolverine

Go further into the story for Marvel’s Wolverine, with a look at the game and the SDCC panel for Marvel’s Wolverine

Many know the story so far for the character, but it looks as if things are going to be shaken up a little bit in Marvel’s Wolverine when it comes to the story. Not just how it will link into the universe that Insomniac Games has been building for a while, but what will be different for this version of the character. That seems to be just what the panel at SDCC covered this year, along with giving us a few more characters that Wolverine will be dealing with along the way. Some that we have seen before, and now a few more to look forward to when the game lands on the PS5 this coming September 15th. Let us have a look at the story and just what was given to fans at SDCC 2026 in the massive Hall H panel.

To get the ball rolling for all of this, we are going to be seeing a world that is not the usual one for Wolverine. It is still set in the universe that we mentioned, but in this one, there are no X-Men. The team specifically, as it is still filled with mutants and superpowered beings. It is just that the team never came to be, and instead we get to see that he was part of Team X. A team that also had Sabretooth and Mystique as part of its members. A team that was also aimed at keeping mutants safe and run by Nathaniel Essex, instead of the many others that we would have seen as the true villains out there. For some reason, Wolverine left the team but is still out there doing what he does best. Along with the other famous characters who are still part of the world, but have a different path they have gone down without Charles pulling them in. Maybe we are going to see Jean and Logan come together in a great way after all of this time…
