Wolverine
A new cinematic look at Marvel’s Wolverine shows off some of the story and two more of Wolverine’s antagonists
Just ahead of the bigger showcase going down at SDCC 2026, we have a new look at Marvel’s Wolverine. Well, more of a cinematic look and reveal of some new antagonists in the game, along with a bit of the story that Insomniac Games is cooking up for us. As long as we are all still onboard with snagging Marvel’s Wolverine on September 15th on the PS5 after everything that has gone down with the publisher. It is not great, but we do not need to punish the developer for what their parent company is doing… as of yet… With that all said, let us all have a look at the new video that we have for the game to see a bit of the cinematic nature this one is going to go with.
As you will quickly see here for Marvel’s Wolverine, they are going with a version of the character that looks like his comic book counterpart, but outside of the mask, gives us all a bit of a different look. That is rather the case with Jean Grey that we see, along with Lady Deathstrike. Although Sabretooth looks quite a bit as we would have expected to see out of all of this, just with the team's extra little flair added to the character. I mean, given that it looks as if this version of Wolverine managed to have something great with Jean at some point, this could all be in a vastly different world than we would have expected. I mean, outside of the Spider-Man world, which was already different from the film, TV, and comic universes we have seen already. Enough of my yapping. Have a look to see what I am talking about.

How are you feeling about the look of Wolverine and the other characters, or are they too jarring for you to be able to get behind? Will we finally get to find out which timeline this story is taking place in, or will it truly make a new branch for fans to pine over in the future? What other characters do you expect we will find out about at SDCC, or will the rest of them be kept hidden until the game fully launches? Let us have all of that discussion and more in the comments section below. We are going to try to see all that we can for Marvel’s Wolverine out at the convention this week, so you might want to make sure you are watching the website and following all of our social channels to not miss out. Along with all of the other fun we have to share along the way.
