Dive Deeper Into How The Scenario Battles Will Flow In Virtua Fighter Crossroads

Virtua Fighter

See a new look at how Virtua Fighter will handle the new way of fighting in the upcoming Virtua Fighter Crossroads

After having Virtua Fighter Crossroads announced a little bit back, and seeing how things are going to be shifting when it comes to combat and story, it's a good time to see how some of those scenarios are going to flow out there. Not to mention, with EVO going on out there, I'm sure we'll have all manner of things to look at from RGG Studio and SEGA for the game. So, why not start out with how the Scenario Battles will flow in Virtua Fighter Crossroads? This would be the mode that shifts us away from the one-on-one fights and into something that will have us fighting from all directions when the game lands on us in 2027. Enough of the yapping, though, and let's see how things have been elevated for the game and IP here.

Everyone who's familiar with the Virtua Fighter IP has probably seen the way the traditional fighting goes. It has been that way for quite a while now. This new bit of fighting has the game leaving the fighter genre a bit and starts to dabble a bit more into the action combat genre. Not to mention, add a bit more realism to the fights in the game, as we'll need to face off against many enemies at once. In addition to that, though, it does look as if we'll have access to use the environment in the world to help with all of this. Not just in the way of causing extra damage in the fight, but in some ways to end fights. Just one more way to help bring Virtua Fighter Crossroads closer to a realistic fighter, even if it still has a lot of the over-the-top cinematic fighting that would rarely go down in the settings that we are going to be wandering through out there. Have a look and see just what the team is going for.
