Hazard Levels
An Early Access is on the way for Hazard Levels, as we also get word that Hazard Levels will be hitting the consoles as well
It's time to hit the pub and get ready for a little Early Access when it comes to Hazard Levels. At least as it comes to the PC version of the game, that Wales Interactive is getting together for us. I say that, as the game is hitting Early Access on April 30th, but those looking to experience Hazard Levels on the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S will be able to do so in Q4 of 2026. Yes, quite a bit of an update as it comes to this weird little survival co-op game where we are playing as some weird animal-human hybrids, while using a dimensional portal hidden under a British pub. Yes, those are all words you read, and one of the quick ways to describe the game. Let's dig further to get the full scope, now that we have the dates.
Hazard Levels is a 1-4 player shooter title that will do all that was mentioned above, but also have us visiting alternate dimensions along the way. All procedurally generated to keep things always shifting, but all of them are accessible from the portal under the pub. That is where we'll start all of our missions, discover what we can in the other worlds, collect random things, fight various creatures, all to head back to the pub to have a solid drink. The drinks being how Hazard Levels will offer us perks to add to the characters, so there is more to it than just a drinking game. It sounds and looks just as bizarre as you are thinking it is. That is why you might want to head down to the video we have to show all of this off. You can also get set up with that Early Access if you are further intrigued by all of the weirdness you are about to take in with your eyes.
Hazard Levels — Early Access
Hazard Levels is coming to Steam Early Access on April 30th, 2026, with a console launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in Q4 2026. Enter unstable rifts, survive otherworldly creatures, and grab bizarre ingredients to fuel a secret brewery hidden beneath a British pub. Hazard Levels is a 1–4 player physics-driven co-op survival horror where the deeper you go, the stranger it gets. Just make it back before last orders.
- 1–4 Player Survival With Prox Chat — Play solo or with up to three friends to tackle the horrors of each rift. Coordination is key; survival is not guaranteed. Proximity voice chat enabled. Supports both third and first-person play.
- Procedural Rift Dimensions — No two expeditions are the same. Each rift generates new biomes, shifting layouts, randomised hazards, and escalating threats that force your team to adapt.
- Gravity Gauntlet Looting — Use the Gravity Gauntlet to grab, carry, and throw multiple objects at once. Harvest bizarre rift-grown ingredients and sell them at rift stations while surviving the creatures that stalk each dimension.
- Unpredictable Rift Creatures — Terrifying creatures lurk within every dimension. Study their behaviour, learn their weaknesses, and avoid becoming their next victim in this gunless survival horror experience.
- Rift Scanning & Portal — Use your state-of-the-art Rift Scanner to locate dimensional anomalies, then deploy a Rift Stabilising Device to tear open unstable portals. Step through and discover what waits on the other side.
- Perk Cocktails — Sample experimental drinks brewed from otherworldly rift ingredients. Some grant powerful abilities… others cause complete chaos.
- The Fox Hole Arms — Your HQ is a traditional British pub hiding the Family’s secret R&D facility. Between expeditions, customise your outfit, mix perk drinks, review mission intel, or drop a coin in the jukebox. Just don’t piss off the Landlord.
Will Hazard Levels be more than a game that is weird for the sake of being weird? How many different worlds will there truly be if there has to be a limit for the game engine? Why do you think we all have the heads of various animals in the game? How well will the game run if we are going in solo, and will some of the worlds require a team of 4 to go in? Let's hear those weird thoughts in the comment section, so we can add our weird discussion to them. Hazard Levels has caught my eye, and I'll be watching to see if it becomes a true contender in the mix. If anything, we know there's going to be a few more updates along the way for the console gamers, so keep an eye on the site for all of that. You can also follow all of our socials to make sure you know when all of this weirdness goes live.
