With Styx: Blades Of Greed hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 19th, time is getting close to pre-order this bad boy. Not that there is much of a reason to pre-order digital games in the modern age, but it will help out Cyanide Studios to keep the lights on a bit longer as we wait for the game to launch. I know, a month is a long time for many gamers who have been waiting to join Styx on one more adventure in the world. That is where the other fun news comes into play here, as that wait can be made a bit easier with a new demo that has dropped out there for us all to enjoy. That might get us to send our money a bit earlier than we might have been planning, for sure.
Now that we can give Styx: Blades Of Greed a bit of a test drive, and can pre-order the game still, let us see what other things we can get if we so choose to pick things up early. Well, in general, it will be just the core game for us all along with a character skin that is inspired by the first game in the series. Although there is now a Quartz Edition of the game available for pre-order, too. One that will land you that fun little pre-order skin, along with a few more outfits for Styx, some dagger skins, two starting skill points, some extra crafting materials, and the chance to play the full game two days before everyone else. So, a little bit of a pay-to-win with some extra cosmetics tagged onto it all. I am not sure why all of those extra little bumps for the start of the game will be needed, but it is an option for those who have the extra money to toss around out there. It is just not much in the way of true substance.
