There is a new live-action trailer for The Outer Worlds 2 to help show off the energy it is going to bring over The Outer Worlds

October 29^th is closing in and we all need to be ready to take off to The Outer Worlds 2 when it launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A title that we loved when Obsidian Entertainment brought it around the last time, and gave us all a solid look back when E3 was still a thing. Now that Halloween is almost here and we need to be ready to head out into a silly Sci-Fi title instead of the horror, we have a look at the Big Sequel Energy coming for The Outer Worlds 2. All in the way of getting a… live-action video with a bunch of celebrity cameos along the way… Let's see if it is going to hold up to the standards we all had from the last title that was out there and before they acquired a new business daddy.

I don't think any of us are fans of live-action videos when it comes to video games, especially when we could just see the gameplay for The Outer Worlds 2 instead. It is something that the following hype video calls out to try and be "meta," but all of this does leave a weird taste in my mouth. Given how close we are to the launch, it feels like we should be getting way more gameplay and footage breakdowns instead of a bunch of hyped up actors telling us why we should play The Outer Worlds 2. Maybe it is a sign that the publisher has all the faith that the game will perform well, as the last one did, but to all of us around here, it feels like a quick ploy to pull in gamers who are only about the big names telling them to do things. That usually means that there is a sign that the game is not as good as it could be, but they need to grab some cash before it bombs out there. That's just our thoughts around here, as we have seen this so many times before. So, have a look and be cautious before shelling out your cash for this one.

Where do you stand on the live-action trailer we have here? Is it weird that an IP as big as The Outer Worlds was, is getting only a hype push instead of a gameplay showcase? Could all of that change next week, with a bunch of gameplay flowing out in the coming week?
