Tony Hawk
There is more of the Tony Hawk fun coming out there with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 heading to the Switch 2 as well
It should come as no surprise that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 is now on the way to the Nintendo Switch 2. This most likely would have been part of the original announcement for the game if Iron Galaxy Studios and Activision did not have to wait for the new console to get its official showcase, but that is a whole different can of worms. We now know that it is officially coming and not going to be part of some backwards play for those who are picking it up on the original Switch. Even if that might be the best option this coming July 11th with how the new console is being handled in the States currently and if you will even be able to have it before this new Tony Hawk remake title drops out there.
Okay, so that might not be the biggest news to have here as it should have been rather easy to know that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 was going to make it over to the Switch 2, given the original announcement for the title. To go along with all of this, though, we get a few new looks at some of the parks we will get to skate in again when the game drops as well as another skater added into the lineup. I am sure that will be something massive fans of the sport will be super hyped about. Those who might not be and want more of the maps and areas revealed out there, well, it looks like we might also be getting a new Sponge Bob Square Pants area for Tony Hawk and all of our skaters to try to rip it up in. How that will work underwater is still anyone's guess, but there is a nice little tease for us going to Bikini Bottom near the end of this announcement just in case you were looking for some other nostalgia to hit and bring into the game when it launches.

The legend returns on July 11 with the launch of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4! Remade from the ground up and ready to rip this summer, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 blends the classic content that fans loved in the 2000s with new offerings, including new skaters, gnarlier tricks, an even sicker soundtrack, and, for the first time in 10 years – brand-new parks!
In addition to the classic content that made the original games a hit, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 features cross-platform online multiplayer for up to eight skaters.
Developed by Iron Galaxy Studios and in collaboration with Tony Hawk and Activision, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 picks up seamlessly right where the critically acclaimed Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 game left off. The new title will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game will also be available at launch for subscribers to select Game Pass plans (Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass).
Fans who pre-order any edition* of the game starting today will receive access to the Foundry Demo in June and the Wireframe Tony Shader at launch. The Digital Deluxe Edition offers exclusive content that includes Doom Slayer and Revenant characters, in-game skate decks, Create-a-Skater items, and more. The Collector’s Edition includes everything in the Digital Deluxe Edition, as well as a Limited-Edition full-size Birdhouse skateboard deck with a printed Tony Hawk autograph.
Choose from a legendary pro skater roster that includes Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Steve Caballero, Kareem Campbell, Geoff Rowley, Andrew Reynolds, Elissa Steamer, Chad Muska, Eric Koston, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Rune Glifberg, and Bob Burnquist, or opt for the new skaters, including Rayssa Leal, Chloe Covell, Jamie Foy, Zion Wright, and Yuto Horigome. And, in true Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater fashion, there will be secrets to unlock.
The iconic soundtrack returns with fan-favorite songs from the original games, including “Ace of Spades” by Motorhead, “Amoeba” by Adolescents, “Mass Appeal” by Gang Starr, “96 Quite Bitter Beings ” by CKY, “Not the Same” by Bodyjar, and KRS-One’s “Outta Here,” alongside new tracks that capture the spirit of modern skate culture.
Is it all that surprising that we are going to see this Tony Hawk title on the Switch 2 or did you really think they were going to leave it out for the launch? Do you like that we are seeing new skaters in the mix of things here or do you think it will outshine some of the older characters in the game? Will we be seeing many other locations like we are seeing in this trailer or will it only be a very small bit of nostalgia bait that will be used to pull in more players? Skate on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else that we have going on out there. We will have more for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 as it is pumped out there, so please keep on checking in for all of those updates and the many others for all of the other video games that are also coming. It is going to be one wild ride.
