Assassin’s Creed
A new walkthrough for Assassin’s Creed Shadows is here to show how this Assassin’s Creed is offering up two vastly different experiences
We only have one more week to finally get our hands on Assassin’s Creed Shadows after all of the extra waiting we have had to endure. It might have been a bit of a struggle, but we are in the endgame for it and Ubisoft is ready to offer up a whole lot of fun for us so we are ready for March 20th when the game lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is, we have a whole lot of new gameplay to dive into for the game and to see just how Naoe & Yasuke will be rolling around in this Assassin’s Creed. Both are vastly different characters and not just a gender swap as we have had before, so let us see just how it is all going to function in this upcoming outing.
This is a very long stretch of gameplay, so get ready to have 20+ minutes of Assassin’s Creed pumped into your eyes here. Gameplay that takes us down two different missions in the game, without spoilers, where we see how Naoe can dominate with Stealth mechanics and Yasuke is definitely more of the fighter. Both can hold their own in each role, but each is certainly designed for their roles. Not only that, but it does seem as if Yasuke is given a bit more of a hindrance in the game without getting any of the classic Assassin’s Creed gear and abilities. No hidden blade, no Eagle Vision, and even some of the parkour is a bit rough for Yasuke. That does mean that Yasuke gets the ability to do things like parry attacks that would normally be unblockable, but it is an interesting difference to give in a game like this. It is almost as if we are being guided to plan Naoe if we want to have a true assassin experience in this one. Not terrible, but it is weird to see when all the other games have given the basics to all playable characters.
