A new developer direct that took place offered up a whole lot of video games on the way to us with Ninja Gaiden 4 getting the official announcement in the mix too. Along with a whole lot of remasters that are on the way too, but this is all about how Team Ninja and PlatinumGames are coming together to give fans of the IP something they have been waiting for. So, get ready for a whole new no-holds-barred bit of ninja combat in the Ninja Gaiden line as it is slated to come to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime in 2025. As long as things are not slowed down and that it comes to all of the platforms at the same time with Xbox doing the publishing on this one. This could be the start of the company not wanting to lose business after picking up so many different studios out there…
It should be easy to assume and see that Ninja Gaiden 4 is going to be carrying on the legacy of the hack-and-slash combat that has made the IP popular in the modern era. All as we step out as Ryu Hayabusa one more time to help the future Tokyo from another ancient evil that looms again. All while using the skills and weapons of the modern ninja out there along with some of the fun parkour that is all the rage in these kinds of action games. Those who are familiar with the original, original Ninja Gaiden are going to see things as a drastic shift, but that does not mean it is not going to hold the same levels of fun and darkness.
