Season one of Marvel Rivals is almost here with some new characters and villains on the way to Marvel Rivals very soon
Now that we have had a good amount of time to stew in what Marvel Rivals had to offer in Season 0 of its lifecycle, we are here to see the official release of Season 1 out there. The first full season of new content to join the game as NetEase Games has promised and to see if it will have the staying power on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC as it did over the holidays. Given that this will further expand some of the story in Marvel Rivals, that will be fun. Of course, the bigger pull to it all will be that we have four more heroes joining the fight here on January 10th with this update. All of which in the way of the Fantastic Four as Dracula comes into the mix to give us something dark to start off 2025 with.
It was not the biggest secret that the Fantastic Four were on the way to Marvel Rivals, as NetEase teased it all well before this announcement too. What is interesting is to see that it is not just Doctor Doom that they will be coming in with as Dracula and other vampires are out there corrupting the world with the Darkhold. Doom has a bit of a part in all of it too, so we can further link the Fantastic Four into Marvel Rivals and see how these new battles will commence. It is an interesting villain to bring in, as I would have thought Blade would have been one of the characters to drop in right away for this, but that looks to still be down the line. Maybe partway through the season at that with all of the leaks that have been out there about the characters. Time will certainly tell.

Are you hyped up to keep on playing Marvel Rivals or did you need to take a break until this new season of content drops in? Will the characters be some of the better ones in the game out of the gate or will they just be nice additions to add into the mix?
