KARMA
A new video for KARMA: The Dark World is out there to help us get to know the character who is wandering about the lands of KARMA
Here we go with another look at the trippy world we are going to be entering with KARMA: The Dark World. This time with a sample of the lost lambs we are all going to feel like as we go through this narrative that Pollard Studio is crafting for us with the Sci-fi or Cyberpunk vibes all over it. Maybe even a bit more of all of that body horror that is all the rage just before Halloween out here too. All to spook us even more when KARMA: The Dark World lands on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. But, for now, let us have a look at how creepy and lost all of us are going to be in the game when we take up the charge of a new investigation in this cinematic video game.
As you will be able to see further below for KARMA: The Dark World, we are going to be wandering around inside Roam Agent Daniel Mcgovern. An investigator who is diving into the memories of someone accused of treachery and other crimes and we need to traverse the twisted mindscape to uncover the truth. However, it does look like this will open up all kinds of horrors in our head as well as the victim's head. A lot of which feeling like KARMA might be taking us down to the circle of the Christian Hell that deals with those who commit this sin. That is at least my take on it all as there is still little more than the fun visuals here to help inform us of what we are going to be playing in the game. Not a terrible thing but it is a choice they went with to help promote it all to us if we have not just opted to play the demo that is currently out there instead.
KARMA: The Dark World — Lost Lambs
We are all but lost lambs… are we not?
Revealed during the DreadXP Indie Horror Games Showcase, our demo invites players to step into the shoes of Roam Agent Daniel Mcgovern, and see the investigation process as he explores the memories of a citizen accused of treachery, as well as the twisted environments and monstrous manifestations he encounters along the way.
But how much of this is real? How reliable is the mind of a man broken by Leviathans iron fist? And should what lurks in the shadows of those memories be seen by anyone at all…?
KARMA: The Dark World is a first-person cinematic psychological horror title where players will be investigating the deepest secrets of their suspects’ minds.
Set in an alternate timeline where post-war Germany has fallen into a dystopian state, ruled over by the Leviathan Corporation using mass surveillance and mind-bending technology — what starts out as another case for Roam Agent Daniel McGovern, sees him uncover a world of deceit and betrayal, where he begins to doubt everything he knows, including his own identity.
Do the visuals you are getting here for KARMA sell you on the game or will you need to see some true gameplay to be able to make that judgment for yourself? Will we be diving into one of those circles of the Christian Hell for this title or will it just feel that way with some of the themes? Are we actually going to make it back out of it all or will we also get lost in the mind of things and have to deal with all of the horrors more too? Explore below for the comment section and then feel free to discuss it all further. We will have what we can for KARMA: The Dark World up on the site and our channels, so please keep on checking back in for all of that and much, much more. It does look like it could be a wild ride.
