Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered Is Now On The Way To Us All For Next Year

Tomb Raider

The Tomb Raider remasters keep on coming with the announcement we have for the Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

Just in case you needed more of the IP in your life, we have the announcement that Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered is now going to be a thing out there on February 14th of 2025. We will get to add three more titles from the IP to all of our modern systems with Aspyr bringing all of these to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC just as they have the other titles we have had not too long ago. So, if you are in the market to have Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider IP slapping you around on Valentine's Day, you can mark it all down right now. Just a bit of a wait, but it is something you can ask your loved ones to give you when the time is right. If you have loved ones that will do so, at least…

As we had in the previous Tomb Raider Remastered collection, this one will give The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and The Angel Of Darkness entries to the IP a massive visual upgrade. Updating character models, textures, lighting, and environments to closer bring the title to a look that might fit in with games of today. It also will fix some of the gameplay limitations that these Tomb Raider titles had with controls and platforming that was just a product of the time given the hardware. Along with adding the trophy/achievement support and a photo mode so you can capture Lara doing all of the various moves and poses along the way in the games. Have a look at a tease for how all of this has been advanced then pre-order it all now if it looks like the perfect distraction you are going to need when it launches.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered — Announcement

Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics are thrilled to announce Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, a new three-game collection featuring Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles, and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, each remastered with improved visuals, modern control options, Photo Mode, trophies and achievements, and more. Developed and published by Aspyr, this new title will release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on Feb. 14, 2025.

Following the incredible success of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft, released earlier this year on PC and consoles, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered will bring the next trio of beloved, globe-trotting Tomb Raider adventures, originally developed by Core Design, to modern platforms with a variety of improvements for players to relive or experience for the very first time.

Discover remastered visuals that bring new life to environments, characters, and artifacts, with the option to toggle between classic and modern graphics on the fly! Choose between new modern controls inspired by later entries in the series for smoother movement and camera capability, or opt for the original tank-style controls. Photo Mode is also back with all poses from Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft included, along with brand-new ones to commemorate the adventure! Players will also find quality-of-life updates like boss health bars, plus new trophies and achievements nodding to iconic moments from the series.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered includes:

Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation (1999)

Lara Croft uncovers the lost tomb of the Egyptian God Set, unwittingly unleashing him and fulfilling an ancient prophecy—one that plunges mankind into darkness. Pursued at every turn by her arch-rival, the unscrupulous archaeologist Werner Von Croy, Lara embarks on a journey of discovery across Egypt, where she must overcome the most ingenious puzzles and infernal traps ever devised while facing terrifying evil from beyond the grave.

Tomb Raider: Chronicles (2000)

Following the events of The Last Revelation, Lara Croft is buried in an Egyptian tomb and presumed dead. At her memorial, those closest to her reminisce about secrets from her past. Travel back and experience Lara’s untold adventures, introducing new gameplay mechanics like stealth and tightrope balancing!

Tomb Raider: The Angel Of Darkness (2003)

Accused of murder, Lara becomes a fugitive on the run, uncovering a sinister conspiracy involving alchemical experiments and the search for ancient artifacts. It’s up to Lara to stop this unholy alliance from unleashing its incredible powers on the world.
