A new update for Dead Island 2 is on the way and it is bringing us all a new gameplay mode to experience in the mix of Dead Island 2
Just like the dead in Dead Island 2, the game just keeps on coming back and offering up so much more to play with. This time, it looks as if Dambuster Studios is aiming to give us all a new mode to play with when the next big update drops on October 22nd for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Along with all of the other massive updates, here we get to see the new mode called Neighborhood Watch that is coming for Dead Island 2. A new co-op mode that also gives a fun little twist on the wave survival modes we have had in many other games out there. Along with a few new characters to experience all of this with as we see how a forgotten Frat House will handle all of these dead now.
In this new mode, we will be teaming it up with these new survivors in Dead Island 2 with our friends to see if we can survive five days in Hell-A. We are all members of the Bobcats who need to defend our house from an incoming swarm of the undead. We know they are coming in five days, so it is up to the three different characters/classes to venture out and gather resources and other skills to help with all of this. Each day also gives us an optional bit of gear to use on that final day. This is when the traditional swarms of dead in Dead Island 2 will be coming in and we are going to need to put all of that teamwork to good use as wave after wave of them all rush on in. Dead Island 2’s brand-new cooperative horde mode — Neighborhood Watch — is arriving on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC on October 22, 2024.
Get ready to team up with your friends as you take control of the Bobcats, a group of college kids defending their frat house from the approaching zombie horde. Complete missions, set traps, and stockpile weapons to prepare for the final day of the zombie onslaught.
Only the strongest defenses, sharpest skills, and tightest teamwork will ensure your survival. Unlock new abilities and make each run more thrilling than the last. Rally your friends and defend the neighborhood. Go Bobcats!
