Beetlejuice

Just in time for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the ghost with the most will be joining the fun fight of MultiVersus

We saw that Beetlejuice was coming to MultiVersus with the tease of the new content before. Many of us were overly excited and ready to see how Player First Games was going to be bringing this fun "Bio Exorcist" into the mix of the game, and now we are here to see just that. Not only see how Beetlejuice will be brought to life but also when we can expect to play as the Ghost With The Most in MultiVersus. Something that we can all do on August 20th on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. All in perfect timing to give us that fun for the new film that the character will be highlighted in. Let us see what else all of this will mean for the game.

In MultiVersus, Beetlejuice will be a new assassin-class fighter who will bring all of the otherworldly antics that the character is known for. A lot more of the macabre and dark humor along with some fast-hitting aspects to the character too. Quite a few look as if they will team up well with many other characters in the game when fighting in those modes too. Along with the ability for Beetlejuice to summon beetles and sandworms when going solo and the body spikes are not working out to the best advantage. Have a look at the character in MultiVersus and get ready for a week of waiting until we can finally give this character a solid run for the money.

MultiVersus — Character Gameplay: Beetlejuice

The Juice is Loose, Baby! Warner Bros. Games released a new MultiVersus trailer revealing the first look at gameplay for the upcoming playable character Beetlejuice, the mischievous demon from the Beetlejuice franchise that originated with the 1988 Beetlejuice movie. The Ghost with the Most will join the MultiVersus roster as part of Season 2: Back in Time on Aug. 20, in advance of the Warner Bros. Pictures film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Beetlejuice is an assassin-class fighter who will deliver his unique blend of undead charm, straight from the Afterlife. In the new video, the shapeshifting “Bio Exorcist” deploys ghoulish attacks and creepy-crawly companions to send a chill up the Multiverse’s spine, including his ability to summon beetles and sandworms to assist during battle, protrude spikes from all over his body to inflict pain, and charge up devastating overhead hammers to slam down on opponents. The trailer also shows off the Beetlejuice Matador variant, along with the Beetlejuice-inspired Afterlife variants that will be available for a variety of MultiVersus characters in conjunction with the Beetlejuice release on Aug. 20.

It is fully understandable that they were not able to get Michael Keaton to come in and do the voice work for MultiVersus with Beetlejuice here. That would have been a huge pull for the game, but it makes sense and we are just going to have to learn to deal with that. That and also the fact that the current voice is doing their best but still not able to hit the specifics of the character. Not their fault at all, as Beetlejuice has been solidified in many heads over the decades, but it is going to be a little rough to hear in MultiVersus. At least we will have the chance to put the styled cosmetics on everyone in the game to help us get into the mindset even and the lack of Mr. Keaton here.

Does Beetlejuice look like he is going to function well in MultiVersus or will it be a character you are going to skip in the game? Does this character have such a unique voice that it will be hard to get past all of that? Does any of that matter and you are just glad to be able to put everyone in the black-and-white suits of the IP? Pop on down to the comment section to let us all know your thoughts and discuss. More is coming for MultiVersus and we will cover it all as we can. Please keep a sharp eye on the site for all of that and every other update we have in the works out there.
