A new mode is on the way to Dead By Daylight with a new 2v8 mode to allow for even more kills to go down in Dead By Daylight
If you were not getting enough of the horrors out there in Dead By Daylight already, then we have a whole new update coming soon that will double all of that for you. A new update that Behaviour had been gearing up for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. One that will place more players into the matches for us all. A new 2v8 mode is on the way to Dead By Daylight on July 25th now and it does what you think it does. I will place two killers against eight survivors out there now. Hopefully, it will not make things too chaotic out there in the Fog.
A bit of a word of warning for this, though, as this new update will only be running in Dead By Daylight from July 25th until August 8th. At least for now. This will be the timeframe where you will be able to experience all of this and the new character abilities and reimagined Hook system too. So, this will be more like a playtest for Dead By Daylight's new mode more than anything. Still, a fun new feature and experience to have in the game so it can keep up with all of the other titles coming out there as of late that also offer more players the chance to be the Killers and to team up with other survivors out there. 2v8 is coming! From July 25th to August 8th, experience the action-packed new game mode for the first time. With unique character abilities and a reimagined Hook system, this is Dead By Daylight like you’ve never seen it before.
Dead By Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As Survivors your goal is to work together to evade, escape, and most importantly – stay alive.
