Not too big of news, but I know some people will care about it. At least those who either own or are a fan boy of the system. But it has just been discussed about what the next FW update will include. No In-Game XMB, but the BD information is pretty nice to know. Especially since the 2.0 version of the format now has disks that hold up to 100GB of data. Too bad it is too late for Metal Gear Solid 4, but it will be nice to see that the option is now open for the future.
Oh yea, the other stuff is kind of a nice touch too. But it is all just a build up to the Summer release of the 2.4 version that Sony has already talked about. But after this, you should be able to watch those DLed HD TV shows on the PS3 without any delay. Damn that was a lot of abbreviations.

- Expanded media sharing with PSP: Copy Photos and Music to PlayStation Portable (PSP), from PLAYSTATION 3.
- Resume play feature allows PLAYSTATION 3 to continue playing a DVD or Blu-ray disc (BD) from the last point stopped, even if the disc was ejected.
- Remote Play will be updated to support "Audio Output Device," allowing PSP to be used as a remote control without having the need to turn on TV.
- PLAYSTATION 3's Internet Browser's viewing speed will be increased and video files on web pages will be streamed.
- [Save Target] has been added as an option under file.
- DivX and WMV format videos greater than 2GB are now supported.
- New AV feature for DVD/BD: "Mosquito Noise Reduction"
