A Quiet Place
A slight bit of the story for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is here to show a different perspective of the fall in A Quiet Place
Just on the heels of the latest movie that dabbles in the start of the fall of man, A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is here to give us a bit more of that story and show a different side of things. Well, more than the story that Stormind Games is working on tells the start of the apocalypse from a different character's point of view and still continues forward. About as to be expected here, but not a bad deal for what Saber Interactive is going to gear up with this title in the A Quiet Place universe. Something, that if it pays off, we might get to see a whole lot more of on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Especially since the gameplay and story do seem to be hitting very well here with the latest video to show.
In A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, we are taking on the role of Alex. An asthmatic college student who thought life was going to be grand living out with her boyfriend. That was until the Death Angels fell to Earth and started to hunt down anything that made noise. Now, Alex will need to navigate the new world that is left in ruins to find a safe place for her and her new family. Oh, yeah, just like in the original A Quiet Place, it also looks like Alex is pregnant near the start of it all and might also need to give birth while caring for a crying baby in the mix of all of this. It worked well once, and from what we can see here, it might work well one more time.

While the story for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead does sound a bit like the original, it does look as if there is going to be some interesting stealth and survival gameplay in the mix here. All things that, if done well, can still make the game experience amazing even if the story does feel a bit like the original, just earlier in the timeline. It does seem like we will have the asthma aspect in A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead to play more of the "health" role in the game, at least that is the assumption, as it still looks like encountering one of the Death Angels is instant death. So, maybe, we will have to keep looking for those inhalers to keep from having an attack and all of the various actions in the game will lower that. That would be a fun twist to the normal Health Bar gameplay in these games.
Do you like the story it looks like we are going to be getting in A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead? Does it feel a bit too close to the original film or will it take a hard shift once we actually are able to dig in? Do you think that the asthma will play into the gameplay features or will it only be to cause tension in scenes instead? Creep on down to the comment section and be loud in that discussion there. We will have a lot more for A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead in the coming weeks, so please keep on checking back for all of those updates and the many others we have in the works.
