Black Myth: Wukong Offers Up A Few More Of The Bosses We Will Face

Black Myth

New gameplay for Black Myth: Wukong is out to give us a look at a few of the bosses we will see in Black Myth: Wukong when it launches

Not too long ago, we had a bunch of gameplay for Black Myth: Wukong drop out there for the Summer Game Fest. As it would seem, Game Science held off on a little bit more to offer up at a later date. that date is now and we not only get to see how two of the boss fights will flow in the game, but also how some of the ray tracing technology will further amplify how Black Myth: Wukong looks. I am sure some of that was also in the other videos we have had, but here we go with a big showing well before the August 20th launch on the PC and PS5. Not to mention, again, some of the boss fights we will need to endure when all of this pops off.

The first one we get to see here is the Red Loong in Black Myth: Wukong. A dragon that is hidden in the Black Wind Mountains. A boss who has some sweeping attacks and actions out there for us to dodge while also being able to hit the thing in the mix too. Then we have a look at Guangzhi and more of the RTX gameplay too. This would be the wolf-like beast we have had hints of in a few of the other videos for Black Myth: Wukong before now, only this time we get to see the fight play out more. One where we will need to constantly dodge and flee from attacks while taking the opportunities to sweep in and try to clean some of the houses. Have a look at all of it just below and get the best feeling for it all.

Game Science is excited to share new gameplay assets for its highly-anticipated action RPG Black Myth: Wukong. The video expands on the game’s showing at this year’s Summer Game Fest and Play Days, previewing another impressive boss fight against a menacing electricity-wielding dragon known as The Red Loong. Game Science has also shared an exclusive look at Nvidia’s RTX ray tracing technology working in-game during the Guangzhi boss fight gameplay, which was recently shared as part of Game Science’s ongoing efforts to provide players with a deeper look at Black Myth: Wukong’s dynamic combat encounters and detailed world design.

Bosses:

  • Red Loong – A sleeping dragon, hidden in the Black Wind Mountains.
  • Guangzhi – A fierce, wolf-like beast who honed his skills at a monastery and wields the fiery double-tipped spear known as "The Red Tides”.

Black Myth: Wukong combines rich storytelling with stunning visuals and a unique take on the action RPG formula. Players will explore a fascinating realm filled with the wonders and discoveries of ancient Chinese mythology, breathtaking landscapes, and a diverse cast of memorable characters based on the acclaimed novel Journey to the West. In addition to a precise and visually striking melee combat system using a staff, the Destined One can harness spells, transformations, and magic vessels as powerful tools in their arsenal against tenacious foes. Freely combine different spells, abilities, weapons, and equipment to find the winning strategy that best suits any combat style.
