Like A Dragon
The story unfolds a bit more for Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth as we see why we might be heading out to find meaning in Like A Dragon
Just when you think a game is going to be all about grit and violence, we get a trailer as we have now for Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. A trailer that offers up a feel for the story we are going to be getting on January 26th, 2024, when SEGA drops the game on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A story that originally felt as if it was going to be all kooky and weird with some over-the-top elements mixed in. I mean, it started off with one of the characters naked on a beach. Now, it seems, there is something much more somber going on with Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
This new trailer takes us through part of the narrative where Kazuma Kiryu is forced to reflect on his life and come to terms with dying of cancer. I am guessing this is what is going to start off the adventures in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth as he tries to knock things off his bucket list before meeting a final end. Our character does get to meet up with a few old friends out there and it looks like they are also onboard with helping to finish this bucket list too. Not the story I would have expected from Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, but it could be a perfect foil to all of the other bizarre things we have been given for it thus far.
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth — The Bucket List
In this new narrative trailer, Kazuma Kiryu reencounters old friends and allies who encourage him to reflect on the meaning of his life and where he should be heading.

I am almost certain that this story for Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth had to be dropped out there right now to help entice more to pick the game up. When I saw the first announcement for this title, I was under the impression it was going to be another title being weird just to be weird. This story brings a bit more clarity into why this is the case. Thus making Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth less of a Hangover kind of thing and more of a Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas kind of thing. Not the perfect analogy but the best one I could come up with as I was writing all of this. Less of a goofy comedy and more of a character discussion is the point.
Did you ever expect something like this to be part of Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth or did you think it was going to be a goofy adventure to go through? Will this only be a driving narrative that gets lost in the mix or will it secretly make many cry with how hard of a juxtaposition it will be? Does this instantly mean that our character will be dead by the end or could this be a deathbed retelling of things instead? Head to the comment section to discuss all of this and much more as you wish. There is a lot more to come for Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, I am sure, so please keep on checking back in for all of that and everything else we can offer out there for you.
