The story is kicking off for Gori with the latest trailer we have to celebrate Gori: Cuddly Carnage

Well, things are taking a solid shift here for Gori: Cuddly Carnage, as now we have a look at the story of what is going on in the game that is still slated for 2024. I thought this was going to be all about the team at Angry Demon Studio throwing a few things at a wall and seeing what stuck out of the current state of the internet out there. In the latest story trailer for Gori: Cuddly Carnage, it looks like there is much more heart and thought going into all of this than most of us previously thought. So, kick back and get ready to see just how this new trio of heroes will be setting out to save the world when the game hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC.

You can have the quick overview in the following video there, but the gist of it is that Gori, his hoverboard, and A.I. friend used to be the hot new "toys" out there. Things that were supposed to bring all manner of joy to the world. That just did not seem to happen and they were scrapped and other toys were brought in. That is where things went wrong as those toys, the unicorns, and others we have seen up to now, have gone "crazy" and have ended humanity out there. This is why Gori and his friends need to set out on their cuddly carnage of an adventure to end all of those things and try to bring real happiness back to the world. With some extra blood and darker humor along the way too. Not too different of a game than some of us thought, and it seems like this is all for the better instead of just trying to dive into any kind of online craze out there.

This is not where I expected the story for Gori: Cuddly Carnage to go, but I am all for it. I also hope that the story gets released to us in the game in the same manner that we have here. A mixture of in-game footage, early internet flash video styles, and MS Paint drawings. It all weirdly feels fitting for the game even though I never thought that before. It may not be what many gamers out there are familiar with, sure, but it is something that will help Gori stand out a bit more and give us a funny ride to go along on. Even if it is a basic hero story with some extra weirdness mixed in. It is that part that will be the extra spice that makes all of this nice if it works out as planned. I cannot wait to see how that all goes for them.
