My Friendly Neighborhood Brings Us All A New NeighborHorde Mode

My Friendly Neighborhood

New updates for My Friendly Neighborhood are here with My Friendly Neighborhood getting a new horde mode in the mix

There is a new reason to dig back into My Friendly Neighborhood as of now and that is that we are going to have even more friends in the mix. Although, I am not sure we can use the word friend all too well here as this is an update that is giving us a new Horde Mode in the game. Okay, so DreadXP might not be giving us the friends we want in My Friendly Neighborhood, but there is a new reason to dig in again with the game. The "friends" will just be attacking us as we head out and gun them down as of now, October 20th. Yep, the update is currently live and now we can dig into what it is bringing.

As with many other horde modes out there, My Friendly Neighborhood will see the areas flooded with so many puppets trying to hug us until we burst. We must survive the onslaught out there as one of four playable characters with their own styles of play and try to make sure the puppets do not escape or destroy everything else. All in the same locations we have explored and survived already in the core game. A nice little bit of fun to have here while also giving us so many other reasons to dig back into My Friendly Neighborhood in general. Given that there are also many other updates that came for the core game along with this new mode too. Gear up and head back out there to end the nightmares that await.

My Friendly Neighborhood — NeighborHorde

DreadXP announced that its all-ages survival horror game My Friendly Neighborhood will keep the googly-eyed fun going with tomorrow’s release of the kooky and spooky free “Neighborhorde Mode” update. Prepare for so many HUGS that you’ll BURST!

The new Neighborhorde Mode content update brings a terrifying new challenge: survive an onslaught of puppets! Terrorize the masses as one of four playable characters, each with their own unique mechanics in four new combat arenas based on environments from the story campaign. The update also includes bug fixes, as well as other quality-of-life changes.

Featuring a mix of action and adventure, My Friendly Neighborhood is the perfect game for horror fans looking for solid scares over grisly visuals.

I had a blast with the story of My Friendly Neighborhood, even if the main loop of it all is not my normal brand of fun. Maybe some of the changes made have improved some of the issues I had with the core game. Specifically, when it comes to the shooting and combat in the game. Given that the horde mode would need these to be close to flawless to make work, I can only imagine that the new quality-of-life updates will fix all of that. My Friendly Neighborhood does feel like a solid game to play for Halloween too, so this is just another reason to drive on out and see what is going on with the broadcast tower one more time. I hope…

Have you had a chance to play the core game for My Friendly Neighborhood or were you holding out for some of the bugs to get fixed? Do you think this one needed a horde mode or will that just be something placed into games to keep their life going? Could this be leading to a sequel coming for it all in the future or will we just get other characters to play as in this new mode going forward? Fight it all out in the comment section below and discuss it all as you so wish to do. There is more to come for My Friendly Neighborhood, I have a feeling, so please keep an eye on the site for those updates and many others still to come.
