Your Xbox Is About To Get Filled With All The Furballs In Stray

Stray

The launch for Stray is here on the Xbox for more gamers looking to have one more way to play Stray

After a very long wait for some, we can finally experience what Stray has for us all in all of its glory on the Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. It may have taken a bit of time and you might have spoiled the game by watching everything that BlueTwelve Studio had for us before now, but now you can have it in your hands. Even if the kitty in the game is going to be just as fickle as any other cat out there. It is just one more way for us all to experience Stray and the cyberpunk world out there after Annapurna Interactive made sure that the PS4, PS5, and PC gamers had a long run with the game already. The industry is weird sometimes and we just have to deal with it all for now.

For those that, somehow, have been living inside a box for the last few years, Stray is an action platforming game where we take on the role of a cat that has been separated from its family and is just trying to survive. Survive in a cyberpunk world where humans no longer exist and robots are the dominant bipedal beings. They have no clue what our cat is but do know that it will play a part in bringing things back to the way they used to be before. That is the broadest overview of the story for Stray just in case you are one of those few gamers out there that have not experienced it yet and want to see how it all plays out. Just know it is a cat in a cyberpunk world doing cat things and you have the basics you need for that.

I was lucky enough to play Stray a long while back and even though short, it was a fun game to experience. The hype around cats on the internet certainly oversells things a bit, but that does not mean it is not a fun experience to have. As long as you do not buy into the hype, this version will be just what you have been looking for out there. If only we could get the masses to not be asses out there any time a game like Stray comes up, we would not need to worry if we are throwing money away for a fad or giving money to some great developers that are using a fun concept. This is the latter in those but we have had too many instances where it has been the other way around. I will stop babbling and let you get into what the game has for us all out there.

Have you had a chance to play Stray before now or did you need to wait to get the game on the Xbox to see what the hype is all about? Do you think this was one of those titles where the internet's love of cats helped out or was it going to succeed based on the solid gameplay we did get? Would you want to see more of this game out there or will it always be good as a one-and-done title I know I am hoping it to be? Take to the comment section and then discuss it all as you so wish to do. We will share all that we can for Stray, if there is more, but that does not mean you should not check out everything else we have to offer up. Have a look at all of that and stay tuned into the site to learn about all of your favorite games out there.
