Inspector Gadget is on the way to our homes soon with the release date for Inspector Gadget: Mad Time Party
The nostalgia is still hitting hard out there with many IPs, with one more getting added in with the release date for Inspector Gadget: Mad Time Party. A nice little title we all knew was coming from Smart Tale Games, even if we did not know when that would be. Yet here we are with the upcoming release date for the game and when we will see Inspector Gadget hit the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC. That date is now set as September 14th. Hey, if we can get excited about the Barbie movie, we can add another thing from the childhoods most do not remember to the list too.
I do need to let you know that this is only for the digital version of Inspector Gadget: Mad Time Party with a retail version coming to the platforms in October at some point. Although, from the gameplay teaser we have here and the screenshots we had before, I am not seeing much of a reason to need to have it in a physical form out there. This does look to be more of a nostalgia bate with Inspector Gadget more than anything. It is a small adventure game with only sixteen different mini-games mixed in for when you want to take it multiplayer. Then again, if the writing of it is still fun and it hits the correct notes, I know many will be able to overlook any of the basic faults.

The North American retail edition will launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch in October 2023.

Stroll through the environments of the original series, meet characters such as Chief Quimby, Penny, or the M.A.D. agents, and use Inspector Gadget’s various gadgets to fight the M.A.D. forces.
Wowsers! Play as the iconic Inspector Gadget and join your friends in this new party game! Metro City has fallen under the control of the evil Dr. Claw. In order to save the city, Inspector Gadget must use a time machine to go back in time. Unfortunately, the machine breaks down and the inspector's ancestors are teleported to the present.
Your mission: Explore Metro City and confront Inspector Gadget’s ancestors to recover the missing parts of the machine. You'll have to solve mini-game quests to unlock the bolts required to repair it.
