Atomic Heart
The story of Atomic Heart is about to expand a bit more with the release of the Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct DLC
We all hate it when a good story just ends and we want more, and it looks as if Atomic Heart is feeling the same way for us. Well, more Mundfish than anything, as there gear up to give us more to the story than we thought we had with the upcoming DLC for the game. DLC that adds a lot more content for us to explore and see how the world of Atomic Heart has much more to offer. Get ready to see all of this on August 2nd when the Annihilation Instinct DLC hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. One does have to love it when we get more story in our games that are just this gripping.
For those that do not care about the story for Atomic Heart, you monsters, there is more in the mix of all of this DLC too. Like the fact we are getting a new and enigmatic character to enjoy as we face off against the AI in the game. Something that should come in handy as we head into the New Game+ mode of it all so we can experience the full game of Atomic Heart as the badass character we become in the end. Which, I know, will have you playing the story all over again but that is how the cookie crumbles here. As long as you want the new challenge of it all in the mix.
I mention that part, as that part is out there for all players of Atomic Heart that want to take on the new difficulty mode of the game instead of just running through like a god. Enemies will be tougher to bring down since they all have new and special resistances in the game. So, we will not only have to dodge and run as needed but make sure we are targeting the correct aspects out there in the mix too. Even if we can start off with everything we have collected in Atomic Heart up to that point too. It should make for a smashing great time if you want to be up for the challenge once more.

New Game+ mode is designed to test skills and enhance the experience
For more player happiness, the New Game+ mode has now been made available for free along with the latest update. In the most difficult game mode yet, players will need all of their previously unlocked skills and arsenal to deal with the strongest enemies Atomic Heart has ever unleashed, thanks to their new specific resistances and attack effects, which will be reflected in the different colors of the enemies’ aura.
Atomic Heart is out now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC with three available editions: Standard (base game), Gold (base game + Atomic Pass), and Premium (base game + Atomic Pass + digital artbook). The Atomic Heart: Annihilation Instinct DLC releases on August 2. It is included in the Atomic Pass and in the Gold and Premium Editions.
This new DLC is part of the Atomic Pass for Atomic Heart, so if you picked up those versions of the game that have that, you should be golden. Everyone else, well, you will just have to pick it up if you so choose to. It does look as if some of the new content will be insane and full of fast and hard-hitting waves of enemies. So that should give us all a challenge a bit more. I know I still need to take a deeper dive into Atomic Heart, and with more content coming out there, it seems like there is a vast story ahead for me to experience. I think I am ready to give it all a solid go now.
Are you in on Atomic Heart for the story we have here or will you be all about the new challenges and areas the game will give us? Do you think that the new resistance for the enemies will make it a true challenge if we have everything unlocked from the start of it all? What do you suspect will be next after this DLC drops out there and we can hammer on through it all? Head down to the comment section and feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. We will have more to share for Atomic Heart as it comes out there, so please keep checking back in for all of those updates and many more on the site.
