Final Fantasy XVI Has Us Ascending Up To A New Requiem Before Launch

Final Fantasy

See a little more for Final Fantasy XVI just before we see this new and gritty Final Fantasy title launch out there

The hype train for Final Fantasy XVI is going and going still with June 22nd coming up for the PS5 release. It felt like it was getting swept under the rug with Square Enix dropping so much for the FFVII Remake during the Summer Game Fest out there. Since Final Fantasy XVI is dropping so soon, one would think that is where they would have been focusing, and here we go with a bit more. All of this out of a long four-hour stream that was to hype it all up felt a little out of place in general. We will ignore that and just focus on the new stuff we have to look at.

Nore or less, what we have here is the same we have seen for Final Fantasy XVI up to now with more of the over-the-top Eikon fights and more of the darkness that this world will hold. It is definitely one of the darker worlds we have had to experience in the IP. Something you can actually check out as you are reading these worlds too, with a demo for Final Fantasy XVI on the PS5 right now. A demo that gives you about two hours of gameplay that will also carry into the full game when you pick it up. That is the bigger news to take away from all of this and the new trailer. Unless you really like seeing Clive brooding and hearing the game's tagline multiple times again.

Final Fantasy XVI — Ascension

When everything is taken away - do you run, do you fight, or do you ascend?

Final Fantasy XVI launches June 22nd on PlayStation 5.

Also, for reason, to further celebrate Final Fantasy XVI on the verge of launching out there, we have a live-action trailer for the game to hype us up too. It is something that does not add much to anything at all outside of Square Enix flexing how much money they are going to spend on the game to get it out there. It has a live-action version of Clive walking about the town and the townspeople singing a song. Why is this still a thing in a world where this could have been done in-game with Final Fantasy XVI instead? Do these things actually help sell the game to anyone out there? I do not think it does and would love to see the mentality behind this besides giving a cast and crew a paycheck. I guess, that is the good side of these things.

Final Fantasy XVI — Requiem [Live Action]

As the melody of fate guides him will Clive rise above his dangerous journey of revenge?

Will you be playing the demo for Final Fantasy XVI out there or will you just wait until next week to get the whole experience in one go? Do these live-action videos do anything for you out there or should we see these end in general out there? Are you excited to get a dark and gritty title in the IP for once or is it going to be a bit jarring to see the blood and hear the crass words? Feel free to let us know and discuss it all as you so wish in the comments. We will have more for Final Fantasy XVI in the coming days, so please keep checking back in for all of that and much, much more.
