It is time for more of the gameplay to roll out there for Assassin’s Creed Mirage to get us all ready for the launch this Fall. So many games are coming around then and getting gameplay now. It is an exciting time. Not that we did not expect Ubisoft to drop this one out there in the Fall of this year given how Assassin’s Creed has gone in the past. It is just something fun to note and take in. All as we wait for October 12th to hit us and give us just what we have been waiting for on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. As long as you are just looking for more of this IP out there in your life.
I say that, as the new gameplay we have for Assassin’s Creed Mirage looks just like everything we have seen before in the IP. More so when you look at the setting and where the whole run of the game came from. We are back in the same Middle Eastern setting with an assassin that is running, stabbing, and jumping just as we have seen before. With a little more flair, sure, but about the same as we have had in all of the other Assassin’s Creed titles already. This might not be a terrible thing, but it is not something I am getting overly excited about currently. I want to see some kind of advancement in the IP. Maybe that is hidden in the full game, but the gameplay below does not seem to highlight much more than just this.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage — Gameplay
Coming October 12, 2023.
In Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you are Basim, a cunning street thief with nightmarish visions, seeking answers and justice. After an act of deadly retribution, Basim flees Baghdad and joins an ancient organization – The Hidden Ones. As he learns their mysterious rituals and powerful tenets, he will hone his unique abilities, discover his true nature, and come to understand a new Creed – one that will change his fate in ways he never could have imagined.
Are you hyped up to head back into an Assassin’s Creed title that looks like what we have had before or did you want something different to shock you? Could the new mechanics and elements just be hidden in the full game and the trailer is misleading us? Do you care and would you be willing to play a remake of the original title no matter how it is sliced up? Tell us all down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. There is certainly going to be more for Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and we will have it all here for you. Please keep checking back for all those updates and everything else we can offer up along the way.
