Unrecord
The first & early gameplay for Unrecord has been released to the world to show off how photorealistic Unrecord could look
There have been a few teases out there and a look at a bodycam footage FPS title to blow our minds with Unrecord dropping some of the early gameplay run for us all to enjoy. This is the title that is coming out of Drama for the PC. Something that needed to be mentioned here since Unrecord does not seem to be the only one using this style to tell a story and give us a new way to experience some high-action out there. There is no indication of how early of gameplay this is in the development cycle, with a release date not set, but what you are about to see will make you wonder what the final version will look like, indeed.
This footage for Unrecord shows off how we will be tactically going into a building, alone for some reason, to bring down some criminals out there. It could be a mixture of the camera lens style used mixed with the power of the Unreal 5 Engine, but it does look mostly photorealistic. Most likely using the blur and fisheye to blur anything that makes it all feel like a game. You can see a little bit of the usual video game elements and visuals mixed in when it comes to the enemies in Unrecord, but that may be something that gets built upon as the development cycle flows. Have a look and see just what the hype is all about.
Unrecord — Early Gameplay
Unrecord is a single-player FPS that tells the story of a tactical police officer from the perspective of his body camera. As you work to solve a complex case, you'll need to use your tactical and detective skills to succeed.
Disclaimer: The gameplay footage you are about to see is from an early version of Unrecord and is not indicative of the final product.
It is definitely on par to think that the above footage for Unrecord is pre-recorded or not actual gameplay. It is a little mind-blowing currently and it is not wrong to be distrustful of things you see on the internet when it comes to your game graphics. For that, here we have a look at what the Programmer and Co-director of Unrecord has to add in. A nice little video that shows the game running in the game editor and moving freely in the space while also firing off a few rounds in ways not seen in the above footage too. Sure, there are ways to fake that if someone really wanted to do that, but I am going to say it looks rather legit from the extra bit we have here and what I was able to see during the play-through before.
For those who thought Unrecord was fake or a video, sorry. 😌 pic.twitter.com/41ESKMISy1

What are your thoughts on Unrecord based on what you see here and do you see it being the real deal? Do you find it odd that we are going to have just one character going in on this tactical mission or is that just for the early footage we have currently? How much further do you think we will see the gameplay go as they press forward with the development of it all? Take all of those thoughts to the comment section below and then let the discussion flow. We are keeping a close eye on Unrecord and will share all that we can for this title as we get it. Please keep checking back for that and everything else we have out there.
