Get To Know The Story For Layla As We Go Further Into Redfall

Redfall

The heroes are coming out in Redfall and we have our first here to see what they bring to the fight in Redfall

We have seen a few of the heroes out there that we are going to control in Redfall before now. There have been a few questions here based on if things will be more on the tech side of things or the supernatural side as Arkane Austin has been a little off on which way it is going. This is why I am excited to see these new videos to not only get more to see but also a bit more about how things could be functioning in Redfall. Unless you are looking to wait until May 2nd when the game lands on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. There are a few spoilers to some of the story here in the mix while also giving us more of the confusion to the mix of it all here…

All the jokes and confusion aside, here we get to meet Layla here for Redfall in an interview style coming from the developers directly. A fun way to do it all as we dive into how Layla got the powers we see and the backstory on why Layla is out there bringing down all of the vampires out there. Layla warns us all of a spoiler as it comes to the telekinetic abilities and an ex-partner in the mix of things too. An ex-partner we will be able to call in for some aid in the mix of the fight out there in Redfall. Yes, we just spoiled it here too but the story is still Layla's to tell, so have a look and see how it is all hinted at and left for us to speculate on up to the launch still too. Even though it feels like it is pretty basic and easy to put together after getting the tease in the first place.

Redfall — Layla: The Telekinetic Threat

Meet the Heroes of Redfall: Layla Ellison. A biomedical engineering student who interned at an Aevum research facility, where something went very wrong, leaving her with intense telekinetic abilities.

Her abilities give you all around versatility — Umbrella is perfectly suited for offense or defense. Use Lift to reach rooftops or launch enemies into the air. Then summon Jason to deal devastating damage to nearby enemies.

Redfall arrives exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC on May 2, 2023.

Will you be selecting Layla to play as in Redfall or will you be going for one of the other heroes when it comes out? Does this explain some of the supernatural or technological aspects of the world or is that all still a little nebulous to you still? Will all of the heroes get the same kind of summon thing that Layla has or will this be an exclusive for the character and others will have something else from their past? Take it all into the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as you so wish to do. We will share all that we can for Redfall as it comes, so please keep checking back for all of those updates and everything else that we will have out there to share.
