Starfield Has One More Release Date Laid Out For Us All

Starfield

The final release date for Starfield is here with another massive look at Starfield coming to us just before E3

The wait for Starfield…well…it continues for those that still have any faith that the original hype for the game was warranted. After all of the delays and pushing out that there has been, it is a surprise that so many have clung to the game and promise since it was over-hyped in the first place. I get that it is a new Bethesda Game Studios universe out there, but with how little we have had to go on in general, it seems like a hard sell. At least, now, we know that Starfield is slated to hit the PC and Xbox Series X|S on September 6th. Just a bit longer to wait to see if the hype and excitement will pay off. I just always go back to what happened with the 76 title and will always be a little gun-shy for it.

While it feels like Starfield has been a long time coming and we have had only small bits to go on, it does look as if we will have something to further get excited about before this new launch date too. The day before E3, June 11th, it also looks like the team will be hosting a special online event to hype up the game more too. An event that should also have a look at the current state of Starfield and give us all a better understanding of what we can expect to be doing in the game. Even if it does feel like it will be similar to their other titles but in space. I could be vastly wrong on all of this, and hope I am, but I am just trying to temper any excitement for it. Not to mention, it feels like a jerk move to do all of this outside of the event that will be taking place next to the publisher's area down there…

Starfield — Release Date

Get ready to embark on an epic journey when Starfield, the first new universe in 25 years from Bethesda Game Studios, launches on September 6, 2023.

Do you think this will be the final and true release date for Starfield or should we all get ready to see more delays depending on how the game is received in general? Is it weird to have the bigger highlight for the game to happen outside of one of the bigger U.S. video game events? Could it actually be playable on the floor somehow or will this be one more in the list of lead-ons we have had over the years? Sound off in the comments and then feel free to discuss anything as you so wish to. There should be more for Starfield, outside of what has been announced, so please keep checking back in for all of those updates and anything else we can share with the world in the mix too.
