Someone Or Something Seems To Know Everything In Q.U.B.E. 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Q.U.B.E. A new trailer for Q.U.B.E. 2 is here and it sheds a bit more light on just what could be going on in Q.U.B.E. 2 in terms of the story We have just under two weeks until Q.U.B.E. 2 launches, March 13th, and there are still a whole lot of questions that need answering. More on my personal side than anything as Toxic Games has done a decent job so far for the general information, but questions nonetheless. Yes, they would most likely spoil a lot of the fun of Q.U. Review — Immortal Redneck
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Immortal Redneck We sit down and review Immortal Redneck. This quirky game has made its way over to the PS4 and Xbox One now. Here is our review of Immortal Redneck Last year, some gamers out there had a chance to pick up and play Immortal Redneck when it launched on the PC. Here we are under a year later and the game is out there again with CremaGames bringing it on over to the consoles as well. Sadly, we missed out on Immortal Redneck the first time around but I guess that is why we are back with a review of the new-ish version of the game as it hops onto the PS4 and Xbox One. It is another roguelike title that may be added into your list for the low price of $19. Read More...

Biomutant's Creation Process Is More Expansive Than We Thought
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Biomutant During the PC Gamer Weekender more of Biomutant was shown off and it looks like the character and weapons of Biomutant will have many combinations mixed in Last week we all had a nice treat as THQ Nordic released a small gameplay trailer for Biomutant that was filled with some elements that felt a little out of context. Not for the game itself, but how it was strung together just did not make much sense but still made the game look cooler. As it turns out, this was a gameplay trailer that was built off a full presentation Experiment 101 had during the PC Gamer Weekender where they went further into a few things for Biomutant. Get Ready For All The Mayhem You Can Cause With Vehicles In Far Cry 5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 Another look at the vehicles of Far Cry 5 is here and we get to see a few more of the ‘rides’ we will get to have when Far Cry 5 launches Here we go with even more for Far Cry 5 as we have yet another look at the vehicles we will be using in the game to bring down all kinds of insanity on that cult out there in Montana. We all knew it was going to be a thing as it really is part of the franchise that Ubisoft has crafted here, but we needed to have another reminder of what is going to be going on. That and we are heading out into the mid-western wilds of the United States where things can get a bit crazier than any of those other areas that Far Cry has done before. Read More...

Nightmarchers Is Still Marching On & Building To Be Better
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Nightmarchers Even though the Fig campaign for Nightmarchers has failed, it looks like the team is still moving forward to make Nightmarchers and to make it better Last week we saw Nightmarchers Fig campaign come to an end and then the latest video for one of the gods in the game. Sadly, it did not look like the funding goal was met but that has not kept Wyrmbyte Studios down as they are pushing forward with development and taking in all of the feedback and criticisms they received to make it a better game. Although this does look like we may not see a final version of Nightmarchers until the end of 2018 or possibly even 2019. It is how games go sometimes, but they are rolling with the punches it seems and not just abandoning the idea and title. Read More...

Far Cry 5’s Ecology Is More Than Just Set Dressing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 Another look at the wildlife of Far Cry 5 is here and we get to see just how we will get to hunt them or be hunted when we dive into Far Cry 5 If there is one thing that the franchise has been known for before Far Cry 5, it is the fact that there will be some fun interactions with wildlife in the game. Sure, before now some of the games have only included them in to make the world feel a bit more realistic, but Ubisoft knows that is not the only aspect we want in the games. We want to be able to hunt them down or to have to add another concern to our list as we are trying to just enjoy the game. Read More...

Face Down The Curse Of The Pharaohs In Assassin’s Creed Origins Soon
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Assassin’s Creed Have a look at Assassin’s Creed Origins’ third major content DLC as the map gets expanded and undead are added into Assassin’s Creed Origins to round it out It may have been pushed back slightly, but the next major DLC for Assassin’s Creed Origins is on the way and hitting us on March 13th to make the world a bigger and darker place. This is the Curse Of The Pharaohs DLC and it sounds pretty dark in general and now Ubisoft has taken the time to fully tell us what will be coming with it all. That and, as usual, we have a new trailer of gameplay to look at for the expansion of Assassin’s Creed Origins. Read More...

Review — Past Cure
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of February 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Past Cure We sit down and review Past Cure. A new story-driven supernatural title from a small studio. Here is our review of Past Cure Since first hearing of Past Cure and seeing some of it in action, my interest was piqued and I wanted to know more. It has been this way for a while now and here we go as Phantom 8 Studio has finally finished it off and placed it out there for us to play. It has seemed hard to peg down what genre Past Cure is actually in as it looks to have stealth elements, action elements, and supernatural all mixed in. Other titles have done this as well, of course, but usually, it has been a very straightforward idea behind it that we could all grasp onto. Read More...

Zasalamel & Ivy Are Now Here For Soulcalibur VI
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Soulcalibur Two more characters for Soulcalibur VI are here to look at as the roster for Soulcalibur VI is further expanded with new and fun weapons Add two more characters to the roster of Soulcalibur VI as we now have Ivy and Zasalamel to look at in action for the game. There is still no release date on when Bandai Namco will be bringing the game to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but 2018 is still the timeline. Not that we should have expected to see a release date so soon for Soulcalibur VI as the roster is still on the lights side still, but it was worth mentioning for now and then we will head back into the characters. You know, the reason you are really here and most likely skipping over all of the text we have added in here. Read More...

Hunt: Showdown Has Now Moved On To An Early Access Phase
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of February 2018 - 06:00 PM ]
Hunt Hunt: Showdown has now moved on to Early Access on Steam as the closed alpha for Hunt: Showdown has been shut down just recently In the past few weeks lucky gamers out there had a chance to check out Hunt: Showdown as the team launched a closed alpha to get feedback, test servers, and make sure everything was running as smooth as could be at this stage in development. I know I was one of those lucky few out there and I had a blast playing what Crytek had for us at that stage and could not wait to get more. Sadly, as of February 22nd the closed alpha test for Hunt: Showdown was shut down. Read More...

See Just How Good Of A Boy Boomer Will Be In Far Cry 5
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 21st of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Far Cry 5 We have yet another look at one of Far Cry 5’s heroes for hire and it is Boomer again just to see how the team made the dog in Far Cry 5 feel just perfect With March 27th quickly approaching, it seems like it would be a good time to dive into more of those heroes for hire in Far Cry 5. We have seen a whole lot of them in the past few weeks and I am sure we will see more from Ubisoft as the time ticks down. Here we go again though with just a bit more and for the one "hero" of Far Cry 5 that has had a lot of attention, Boomer. Read More...

Biomutant Will Have Many Ways To Explore Its Massive World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of February 2018 - 08:00 PM ]
Biomutant A new bit of gameplay for Biomutant is here and it gives us a feel for how we will explore and experience the world of Biomutant with the character's move sets A little more gameplay for Biomutant has been released out there after the recent PC Gamer Weekender event and it gives us all a new look at some of the moves, actions, and ways we will get to further explore and interact with the world that Experiment 101 has built for us. Not much in the way of giving us solid details as it is an edited together mismatch of clips put out there by THQ Nordic, but it is something to get us further excited for the game to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC at some point in 2018. It is more for Biomutant though so there is that to be happy with for now, so we can just take it as it is for now. Read More...
