Resident Evil Origins Collection Announced & We Can Play As Wesker
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of September 2015 - 01:00 PM ]
A new compilation has been announced in the way of Resident Evil Origins Collection as well as the ability to play as Wesker in Resident Evil 0 Remaster If you are hoping for another good fill of Resident Evil goodness then…you'll have to wait until January 19th of 2016. The good news on that is not only are we getting the Resident Evil 0 Remaster title from Capcom but we are also getting a Resident Evil Origins Collection. That would be both of the Resident Evil remasters in one place for the price of $39.99 USD. Read More...

Get Acquainted With The New Batman: Arkham Origins DLC - Cold, Cold Heart
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of February 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
There is a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins DLC titled Cold, Cold Heart. This is Mr. Freeze story DLC! By now most of us have enjoyed Batman: Arkham Origins and maybe some of the DLC challenge maps. Yes, Initiation was kind of a story DLC but it was really just a bunch of challenge maps in a story frame and not actually just story DLC. I am moving off the main topic here though as we have a teaser of the new story-based campaign DLC: Cold, Cold Heart. The main focus there is the term campaign. Read More...

New Mode For Batman: Arkham Origins Gives Batman One Chance To Survive
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 2nd of October 2013 - 05:50 PM ]
Good news for all you gamers out there who crave an extra challenge with your games. It has been announced that Batman: Arkham Origins will have a new difficulty mode called "I Am The Night" mode. This mode will only unlock after you have beaten the game not once, but twice. You complete the game once, I am assuming to unlock the second to hardest mode, and then complete the game again on New Game Plus mode. Once this is done you will have access to this new "nightmarish" mode. What make this mode stand apart? Read More...

Burning Down Gotham With The New Batman: Arkham Origins Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of August 2013 - 03:28 PM ]
With the below trailer straight out of Gamescom, we are up to five of the eight assassins hunting Batman in Arkham Origins now. There are still loads of other villains, NPCs and sidekicks announced as well, but now we can add Firefly to the list of killers. Also it looks like there might be some pretty damn cool fight/flight scenes mixed in with this new character as well. Keep an eye out in the trailer and you'll most likely see what I am talking about. Also keep an eye out in case you missed all of the other villains and NPCs that have been announced thus far as they are all interwoven into this pretty bad ass trailer. Read More...

What's The Good News From SDCC For Batman: Arkham Origins?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of July 2013 - 02:15 PM ]
Well, not that much that we have not seen or heard from E3 will answer that question. It makes sense that Batman: Arkham Origins would be on display at the San Diego Comic Con but you would think that there would be some kind of information dump that wasn't handed out a month prior. I guess it is more about getting the information out to the public directly and not through the filtered lenses of the media. Who knows? While I don't think much was shown on the floor or during their panel, there were a few little tidbits and a new trailer shown for the latest assassin, Copperhead, hunting The Bat. Read More...

E3 2013 Hands On: Batman: Arkham Origins
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 20th of June 2013 - 07:39 PM ]
I have been filled with all kinds of mixed emotions since the announcement of Batman: Arkham Origins. I am a huge fan of the franchise and storyline of the game's world. I am not a fan of most prequels and unfortunately Arkham Origins falls into the prequel world. Usually prequels just feel like the developers wanted to do another title in the franchise but have been written into a corner or need to find a reason to explain why the protagonist is weaker compared to where fans left them. Fortunately for myself, I was granted access to the elusive "behind doors playable demo" of E3 and had a chance to play around with the younger version of Batman. Let me pour out my feelings on this now. Read More...

Batman: Arkham Origins Gets A New Trailer And Reveals
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 20th of May 2013 - 05:14 PM ]
Last week we got a pretty lackluster "teaser" for the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins title still in the works at Warner Bros. Games Montreal. Granted it came along with a short time span before we were supposed to get a full trailer for the game. The wait is now over and the trailer has been released in its full five minute version. Unfortunately, it doesn't do much in the way of showing the actual game nor does it do much more than show a beautifully fully rendered fight scene. Don't get me wrong, I think the below "trailer" looks pretty cool but it is like saying the next WoW expansion is a trailer for the game. Read More...

More Screen Shots For Batman: Arkham Origins To Show The World
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of May 2013 - 07:01 PM ]
Who wants a butt load of new screen shots for Batman: Arkham Origins? You do of course. This should be something to help tide us over until we get some actual in-game footage or at least an awesome CGI trailer. Hopefully that won't be too far off. I'm thinking at least a month, if not sooner. We'll have to see. Maybe they are still trying to work out the Voice Actors still. Anyway, the following images do show off some cool action shots as well as a few villains. Read More...

Batman: Arkham Origins Announced⦠Yet Another Prequel Title
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of April 2013 - 07:45 PM ]
With the success of Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, most of us figured there was going to be a new Batman game coming. Lo and behold, just announced by Warner Bros., we have Batman: Arkham Origins to look forward to this coming October. Not only that, but there is also a handheld side kick that has just been announced for the Vita and 3DS; Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate. Unlike the previous two titles, Arkham Origins will not be developed by Rocksteady but in house at Warner Bros. Games' Montreal studio. Read More...

How Do The PSP God Of War Titles Compare To PS3?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of August 2011 - 05:17 PM ]
When I heard that Sony was going to bundle the two PSP God Of War titles, Chains Of Olympus and Ghost Of Sparta, for the PS3 I was a little upset. I already dropped the cash on these games for the PSP and the PS3 was already out. I thought then, why did they not just make these games on the PS3 and just make them downloadable or cheap disks? After seeing the below comparison, I am even more infuriated that I had to wait to get them in high definition and on my big screen at home. Watch the trailer clip below and tell me that it wouldn't have made sense to just put both of these titles on the PSN or PS3 in the first place. Read More...

Review: Dragon Age: Origins Awakening
by Michael Camacho [ Monday, 22nd of March 2010 - 11:50 AM ]
Disclaimer: Before you continue on to reading this review, I want to say a couple of things. If you have not played Dragon Age: Origins, I highly recommend you do before playing this expansion. While it is playable as a stand alone on consoles, you will be doing yourself a huge disservice by not playing through the original storyline. Second, play through all current DLC on the main game as well before importing your character into Dragon Age: Origins Awakening, as you will not be able to go back and play through that once your character has gone through the Awakening storyline. It has only been four months since Dragon Age: Origins was released by Bioware, and already they have released one DLC (Return to Orzammar) and now we have the first full expansion pack, known as Awakening. Dragon Age DLC Announced: Return to Ostagar
by Brian Bentley [ Thursday, 19th of November 2009 - 03:04 PM ]
Today BioWare announced their next installment of downloadable content for their critically acclaimed Dragon Age: Origins will be available this holiday season.  Entitled as Return to Ostagar, players will be able to: A return to the battlefields of Ostagar, now thick with darkspawn encamped amidst the snow An opportunity to reclaim the lost arms and armor of a king A second chance to add Dog to your party The cheapest of the three DLC packs, Return to Ostagar will retail out at $4.99 on the PSN, 400 magical Microsoft Points and 400 magical BioWare Points.  I feel torn about all this content being released so soon after the full game's release.
