Not only gaming, but all of the other features that we should be getting with the PlayStation 4 to make it the console that drives your home entertainment. So sit back and have a fun read to see if you should sprint out and pick up this system. Hated Ok, so where did all of my features go that I loved with video playing? Read More...

Review: Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of November 2013 - 06:29 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror of Fate HD. How Does This Port From The 3DS Stand Up On The PS3 And 360? Originally released on the 3DS, most of us who don't own a 3DS missed out on Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow - Mirror Of Fate. Luckily for all of us who are fans of the Lords of Shadow franchise MercurySteam added a HD rendition of Mirror Of Fate in the recent Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow Collection for the PS3 and 360. This is just in time to let us all have a good go at the full story before LoS2 comes out. As usual though, is the game worth your time or should you pass on it? Read More...

Review: Call Of Duty: Ghosts [Multiplayer Mode]
by Greg Tatterfield [ Monday, 18th of November 2013 - 06:16 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This Is The Second Part Where We Cover The Multiplayer Of The Game The new Call Of Duty is here and it’s that time again for players to put many hours into the games' multiplayer. This time it's Infinity Ward up to bat with Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This is part two of our Call Of Duty: Ghosts review and you can check out our Campaign review here. Hated The annual Call Of Duty games are usually pretty solid but Ghosts' multiplayer has some glaring issues that can’t be ignored. Perhaps the biggest issue is the spawning. Read More...

We Sit Down And Review Call Of Duty: Ghosts. This Is The First Part Where We Cover The Campaign Mode And Story Of The Game It's that time of year again. Time for another Call Of Duty to hit shelves and this time it is with Call Of Duty: Ghosts. There have been a load of upgrades and a new engine since last year's Black Ops II. Most of you may know that there are multiple updates to the multiplayer mode to boot. This review will not be covering those at this time as I focused mainly on the campaign mode. Read More...

Review: WWE 2K14
by Greg Tatterfield [ Tuesday, 5th of November 2013 - 11:27 PM ]
We Review WWE 2K14. Does It Live Up To Its Predecessors? After THQ closed down many wondered what would happen to the annual WWE franchise but thanks to 2K games we are here with WWE 2K14. WWE 2k14 holds a great number of improvements over its predecessor and makes an upgrade well worth the cash. Hated There were not many things that I hated about WWE 2K14 as the annual entries are always pretty solid. My only gripe was the games commentary. More than half of the commentary for this game seems to be taken from previous entries or said in a slightly different way. Read More...

Review: Skylanders: Swap Force
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 24th of October 2013 - 05:44 PM ]
It's time for the third installment of the Skylander franchise with Skylanders Swap Force. With it comes a new story, new levels, and new toys to be collected and used. Not to mention that these new toys also have a new mechanic both in the real world and in the game world. That being the ability to trade half of one toy with another and mix and match their powers and look. This is my first foray into the Skylanders franchise so let's see how well it went and if it is worth your time and money to invest in the franchise at this point in the game. The Story Kaos, the main villain who should just really be Invader Zim, is up to his evil plans again. Read More...

Review: The Wolf Among Us - Episode One
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 23rd of October 2013 - 06:49 PM ]
Just as with Telltale's last blockbuster title, The Walking Dead, we have another new 'point and click' storytelling adventure with The Wolf Among Us. It also looks like they have found a winning combination and Telltale is going to try and capitalize on it. The real question is: Can they do it again? Well, I'll be breaking it down as the new episodes release so keep an eye out. Also, if it sounds like I am being ambiguous in my phrasing that is due to me not trying to spoil the story. Review: Knock Knock
by Kenton Winkfield [ Wednesday, 16th of October 2013 - 10:34 PM ]
With Halloween just around the corner, I've wanted to play a creepy game. The problem with this is I can’t seem to find a game creepy enough to send chills down my spine, while not scaring me away from the game every five minutes (it's been a few months since the last time I played Amnesia). Thankfully, the fellows at the Russian development studio, Ice-Pick Lodge, have created a game to fit my personal chill levels without scaring me away. Knock Knock is a 2D side-scrolling survival game set in a single house in the middle of the woods with a single resident. The game was started by Ice-Pick Lodge when they "received an anonymous e-mail which suggested that we should produce some 'unconventional' game based upon the materials attached to the letter. Review: Beyond: Two Souls
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of October 2013 - 09:10 PM ]
Beyond: Two Souls has finally come out and worked its way into our gaming world. If you've been hiding under a rock and just stumbled upon this review by accident, this is the new title written and directed by David Cage of Heavy Rain fame. Quantic Dream being the developer in case you are in from that angle. Either way, in case you are on the fence about giving Beyond: Two Souls a play or a purchase, I am here again to help you make an informed-ish decision. The Story This is a story about a girl, Ellen Page Jodie Holmes, who is 'different' and refuses to use lip balm that also happens to have been born with an 'entity' or ghost attached to her. Review: Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of October 2013 - 07:04 PM ]
Here we are five titles into the franchise and we are now getting the ability to manipulate some of our favorite characters and worlds with Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure. While personally I would have preferred a Marvel version, beggars can't be choosers when given the opportunity to rewrite, create, and travel to all of the famous locations in "nerd" history. As should be obvious, I had a chance to get down and dirty with Scribblenauts Unmasked on the PC and I am going to break it down for you to let you know if you should spend the time and money for the game. The Story After all of their fun adventures before, Maxwell and his sister Lilly are having a normal dispute on who is the best DC character. Read More...

The Walking Dead from Telltale has been out for some time now for every device with one of the most recent being the PS Vita. Now I know what you are thinking "is there a reason I should get the game again?" Well with the PS Vita comes a few extra hardware additions that just were not available on the console or PC so let's dig in and see if your third or fourth play through will be worth it on Sony's handheld device. In case you missed out on the basics of the game, such as story, feel free to check out our original review of the console version to get caught up. Hated One of the bigger features for this version of The Walking Dead was the ability to use the touch screen to interact with the game. Read More...

Review: The Avenger Elite [PS3]
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 4th of October 2013 - 05:07 PM ]
We are all looking for an edge when it comes to competitive gaming or just gaming in general. Be it new tricks and perks or a specialized controller to allow our hands to move as fast as our brains can think. Recently I got my hands on an accessory that claims to be able to help out with just these wants and needs for us gamers. The Avenger Elite is this accessory's name and I'll give you the low down on if it is worth your time and money to try and squeeze a little bit of extra skill out of your hands with it. Let's start off with the 'installation' of the device. Read More...

Review: Power-Up
by Kenton Winkfield [ Tuesday, 24th of September 2013 - 07:36 PM ]
It has been way too long since the last time I played a classic side scrolling bullet-hell. I’ve longed for something to remind me of my days of playing Super R-type on my SNES or shelling out quarters at an arcade. Thankfully, Psychotic Psoftware has broken out into the indie game business with Power-Up and has given me that nostalgia, as well as something new to savor. Power-Up is a brand new Xbox Live Indie Game from brand new one man developing studio, Psychotic Psoftware. It is a horizontal side-scrolling shoot-em up with beautiful scenery and frame rate. Review: Diablo III [PS3]
by Greg Tatterfield [ Monday, 16th of September 2013 - 06:42 PM ]
Last year Blizzard released Diablo III on PC to great reviews and critical acclaim. Now months after the PC release, console gamers get a chance to play the superb dungeon crawler. I am among the people who got their hands on Diablo III late since I am exclusively a console gamer. This review will be more for console gamers who have never played Diablo III, since I can’t speak for the original PC version because I have never played it. I will however touch upon the differences between PC and the console ports. What I hated: There were not many things that I hated about Diablo III. Read More...

Review: The Bureau: XCOM Declassified
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of September 2013 - 09:17 PM ]
Well this has been a long time coming since we got our first look years ago at E3 but The Bureau: XCOM Declassified has finally hit the streets. For a while there I was a little scared it wouldn't be coming out given the focus on other titles and a whole different game in the same franchise. But here we go. Does it still hold up to what was shown and/or promised way back when we had our little showcasing? Well let us see. Read More...
