Friday The 13th: The Game's Stamina System Will Be Very Familiar To Fans
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 28th of December 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th A new video for Friday The 13th: The Game shows off the game's stamina and noise mechanics and Friday The 13th fans will see a lot of similarities between the films and game here It should really come as no surprise that Friday The 13th: The Game will have a stamina and noise mechanic built into the game to give players that authentic experience. Running out of stamina and making too much noise is always a drawback when facing off against Jason and Gun Media is making sure we have that in the game. It really wouldn't be Friday The 13th if it wasn't in there and stamina/noise was treated like points on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Read More...

A Few New Looks At Friday The 13th: The Game & How Spawning Works
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of December 2015 - 06:02 PM ]
Friday The 13th We have two new counselors for Friday The 13th: The Game to look upon and a new update on just how spawning will work in Friday The 13th for both sides of the camp As is to be expected with how Friday The 13th: The Game is being developed we have yet another update on the game and how some of the mechanics will work for us when we finally get to play it. This time we get a look at how Gun Media is going to handle characters spawning into the game map in Friday The 13th. Not only that but we also get a look at two of the other counselor archetypes that we will get to hack and slash to death, or help them escape if that is how you roll, in Friday The 13th: The Game. Run For Your Life With New Friday The 13th: The Game Alpha Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 16th of November 2015 - 10:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th In the wake of Friday The 13th: The Game succeeding with Kickstarter we have some new Friday The 13th gameplay to show off what we all may be experiencing in the near future For those following all things Friday The 13th: The Game you will be glad to know that the game has been fully funded via the Kickstarter campaign for the game and production will commence. I am sure that Gun Media was still in the production phase of everything as they waited for the funds to roll in but none the less Friday The 13th is coming to a PC, PS4, and Xbox One near you in the coming year. That is unless the developer wants to piss a lot of people off and cancel the game after making the money but I don't see that happening here for Friday The 13th: The Game. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game Shows Off More Of The Killing Fields
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 4th of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th A new video for Friday The 13th: The Game has been let loose with the intent of showing off the environments of Friday The 13th's Camp Crystal Lake We are heading into the final stretch of Friday The 13th: The Game getting its funding via the Kickstarter campaign it has. Just under $100K to go still and then Gun Media will be bringing us the basic version of Friday The 13th presumably without the bells and whistles in the stretch goals. All of this you should know and most likely expect to see Friday The 13th: The Game coming to a PS4, Xbox One, and PC near you sometime next year. Again I predict sometime around Halloween although May does have a Friday The 13th in the month and who could pass up that date to get the game out on? Read More...

More To See For Friday The 13th: The Game To Help Fund It All
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 2nd of November 2015 - 08:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th A few new screenshots for Friday The 13th: The Game have been released to help drive funding and get a proper Friday The 13th video game again There are eleven days and just over $100k to go to see if the Friday The 13th video game that was recently proposed will get its funding on Kickstarter. I know I am watching patiently just as Gun Media most certainly is. There has already been a whole lot of work on the game before it officially became a Friday The 13th video game so they do have a bit to show already. Read More...

Friday The 13th: The Game Gets Announced As Summer Camp Gets The Machete
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 13th of October 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Friday The 13th Friday The 13th: The Game has been officially announced and is looking to bring all of the Friday The 13th fun into video games with a 1v7 multiplayer game You may or may not remember the news back in January of this year about there being a Friday The 13th game in the works. It got slyly announced a bit and also shared many of the same qualities for another titled called Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp. Both were an Evolve gameplay kind of set up as one person took on the role of the slasher, or Jason in the aspect of Friday The 13th, and the rest as the counselors. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of May 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New screenshots for Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp show off the horrors that wait in the Camp Forest Green arena of Summer Camp You may not remember hearing about Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp earlier in the year but it we had some fun news about the game. Now we flash forward a bit and we have even more about Summer Camp from Gun Media and it looks like it is shaping up rather well. At least based off all of the new screenshots and details that have been released out into the wild for us all to hunt down and hack up with…say…a machete. You know…? Read More...

Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp Has Its…Well…Slasher Now
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of February 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
Horror legend Kane Hodder has joined up to be the killer in Slasher Vol. 1: Summer Camp to kind of reprise his role from films I feel bad for just now catching wind of Summer Camp and its early development. I blame titles like Last Year and Until Dawn for taking the spotlight in the realm of classic horror film style games and Summer Camp falling through my cracks when it was announced last October. Especially now that I know that this is more or less going to have Jason in it even though it won't be by name. We will have the ability to control the movements from the man who made that role so iconic in Summer Camp on the PS4, XB1, and PC so we can look past the fact that there is a Friday The 13th game in the works for now. Media Molecule Embraces Their Mistake And Teases New PS4 IP
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 22nd of July 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Media Molecule shows off a bit of their latest IP in the form of a rendering error It's not every day that anyone embraces their mistakes as Media Molecule just has. Usually things like this get thrown aside or swept under the rug; especially something as little as a rendering error. Not here though as it looks like Media Molecule is using an error like this to kind of tease their next IP coming to the PS4. Get ready to see the horror and tedious side of game development and try to figure out what Media Molecule is going to bring us. A rendering error on our new PS4 project caused this trippy sequence of colourful nonsense that begged to be shared. Read More...

Can We Cut To An Official Fallout Film Now?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 17th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Another 'fan film' for the Fallout universe has surfaced, Fallout Lost/Found. Here's what is known. It's been a bit since we had a 'fan film' service to Fallout with Nuka Break so I guess it is time for another with Fallout Lost/Found. What is Fallout Lost/Found? Yet another fan short that will be making the rounds keeping all Fallout fans clamoring for a full on feature film or maybe an episodic show the likes of The Walking Dead. That sounds like I am not interested or excited to see this unfold but I am. I am just hopeful that Bethesda would have taken all of the fan love and give them what they apparently want. Read More...

Before we move on in terms of details, let me show you the new trailer for Pavilion and all of its M.C. Read More...

LittleBigPlanet Karting Now Officially Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of March 2012 - 04:07 PM ]
Well it only took a little over a month, but LittleBigPlanet Karting can now be considered announced. It has a new trailer and screens to say so as well even though it was pretty much "leaked" a while back. I know…I know… But when we all first heard about the game and saw the first images it was outside the pre-defined PR timeline for when it was to be truly announced. That is now. Ok, so we all knew it was coming for a while now but at least we do get a nice new trailer and a few screens to show off the game and where it is in production. Read More...

Review: UFC Undisputed 2010
by Binh Nguyen [ Thursday, 3rd of June 2010 - 05:02 PM ]
UFC surprised us with a lovely right hook with last year's title UFC Undisputed 2009. A year later THQ gives us the slogan “So you wanna be a Fighter” with this year's release of UFC Undisputed 2010. Yeah the name hasn't changed much, but the game certainly has. If you do not know what UFC is by now then you seriously have been living under a rock - especially with names like Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell, Royce Gracie, Randy Couture, George St. Pierre (GSP for short), Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock. Names made famous cause of UFC. Read More...
